Babs finished eating and pushed the remains aside,
standing up and looking around.

* Sparrow waddled over to his mother and latched on to nurse. Tara purred lightly and nuzzled her son closer to her belly and curled around him.

Babu gave a slight nod of their head;
maybe they should stay for just a bit.

Hopefully, mother wouldn't find them here.
or father, for that matter.
Babs settled down neatly near the entrance,
just in case any-cat tried anything.
he still wasn't too sure about this pair.

* She watched as the kit laid down and smiled lightly. She was glad they could relax a bit. She felt Sparrow snoring lightly next to her and slowly got up. She padded over to the entrance and reached up on the outside of it to pull down the lichen that was on top. When she managed to get it to fall over the entrance it made the den almost invisible to those who weren't looking closely. *
" Goodnight, rest well. "
