"Thank you... for my life, Lionstar. I owe ya." Speaking of Lionstar... he was pretty large. And muscular. And-
Berrybreeze. Snap out of it. Your boyfriend-that's not your boyfriend is right there and you almost just died. Get it together. The tom shook his head and coughed sharply, searching for Honeytuft's figure. When he spotted the pale tom, he limped over quickly, practically collapsing onto the smaller tom in a feelbe attempt at a hug. "Thank you thank you THANK YOU for saving me. Now let's get out of here."

Honeytuft choked out a purr at the embrace, "Of course" he simply mewed, his voice thick with emotion. He gave Lionstar one last nod of thanks before he gently placed his tail across Berrybreeze's shoulders and slowly leading him out oof camp.Thank the stars they were able to get out of there alive! He let out a sigh of relief as they exited the smoke filled camp. "Berrybreeze, We're heading to smallpines" he explained as they slowly made their way through the forest.

Primrosewhisper nodded up at Buckbranch sadly, watching him. She was many things, but braves was very much not one of them. The molly hated leaving the tom, wanted to help him, but she couldn't take a single step towards the flames and the heat. Tears threatened to sting her eyes, smoke-induced or not. The ragdoll took a rattling breath and turned away from Buckbranch, running partway out of camp before turning back to him and raising jer voice higher than she ever had. "Good luck!"

The small cream tabby let out a few chocking coughs. Her eyes were stinging and the back of her throat was starting to suffocate from all of the smoke. ¨Mama!" A weak cry for help when she heard Sunnywillow's cries for her daughter. Then a male voice broke through the noise of crackling branches, "I'M HERE!". Desperate wailing for help and before she knew it a huge trunk limb fell right next to her causing Soaringpaw to run straight into a cooling fire and burning her pads off of her paws. Screaming and crying the apprentice fell to the ground with her limbs burning and paws numb.

(Open to Lionstar saving her or someone else)

Lionstar was pretty sure by the time he was done with this, he'd look like a real bee!

Soot and ash clung to his yellow pelt like a second skin, and his breathing was worsening by each passing moment. The smoke was hard on his lungs, and it was showing between his wheezes and his coughing.

But he came to the cries of the screaming apprentice, reaching down to sink his teeth into her scruff and pull her away from the fire and the tree. "Hey, wait--!" he called to the she-cat who was leaving, uncertain of her name but needing to get her attention. "Can you take her with you? I don't think she can walk!"

Owlwatcher was too hung up on going back into the fire to save the love of his life that when he was pulled back the tom almost snarled at whoever was holding him back. But when he saw her face the tom felt a boulder of relief come off of him. "Mumblefoot!" The brown main-coon threw himself into the molly's embrace as he took in her sweet scent that he feared he would never smell again. "I thought I lost you!"

Soaringpaw was in and out with all of the red flames dancing around her and the smoke fogging her vision. She wasn't sure if she was dead yet or not. The molly was barely able to lift her head when she heard her mother yowl her name again. "M...a". With all of her energy drained and the smoke filling in her lungs the apprentice wasn't strong enough to lift her head anymore. Hitting back to the ground Soaringpaw saw the world double flames, trees, and smoke. Then she was lifted off the ground by a dirty angel? She wasn't sure, but the molly was swaying in the air while her ears rang and vision going blurry.

Primrosewhisper turned quickly, hearing a giant golden cat yelling at her. Was this Lionstar? The molly had faintly heard him yelling in the camp, but was mostly too afraid to register it. This, however, she registered clearly. Primrosewhisper looked at the allrentice in question and gasped, abandoning her usual shy demeanor to run over. This was Soaringpaw. Fernglow's daughter. No. The ragdoll quickly nodded to Lionstar, coming up beside the young apprentice to take her scruff. "yes sir." Primrosewhisper hen focused her attention to the crowd, eyes scanning for Fernglow or Sunnywillow.

Mumblefoot purred when he embraced her, "It's okay, Owlwatcher. I would never leave you" she mewed, her voice think with emotion. She buried her muzzle in his shoulder, her eyes tightly shut. She was now only vaguely aware of the fire blazing around them. Right now, the only thing that mattered to her was being with him and knowing that he was safe. She choked out a small sob, "I-I thought that you died!" she mewed, referencing to when she called out for him when she first noticed the flames. She just now realized that he must not have heard her over the clamor and noise coming from their clanmates at the time. Looking up to stare into his eyes, she firmly mewed, "We need to get out of here. If we don't leave soon, we might actually die" she urgently mewed, trying to ignore how fast her heart was beating, how her paws were shaking, and how her eyes were wide with fear.

His ears perked at the faint wails, cries from both a mother and child. Fernglow abandoned his task of searching for survivors instantly and bolted towards the cries, searching for them. Why had he ever thought to try and savd others first? He should have gotten his family out before anything, Were they okay? Where was his son? The tom's thoughts sped as he hissed at the flames licking his belly, paunching his body over a branch to get closer to the exit. "SUNNYWILLOW? SOARINGPAW?" The brown tom searched frantically, seemingly ignoring the nearing flames. Where was his family?

Houndspirit gasped when she saw Duskstar awaken. Oh gosh, of course! they had nine lives - how many was Dusk on now? this was not the time to worry.

"Maybe we should get her to small pines because she loses the other side of her face?'
