Breezy had some points. Perhaps a fire would be better. Rushingmoor couldn't help thinking he would prefer cannibals. He could fight a cannibal off before they got a taste of him and even live without a tail tip or a paw if it came to that, but there was no punching a fire in the face. He'd die an idiot trying to fight off fire.

The morbidity of the discussion was somehow rising and Rushingmoor thought they should probably start discussing something a bit more... light hearted. Anything other than the numerous ways they could all die horribly this season. Then again, if their other topic turned to his relationship with Twi, perhaps planning out a natural disaster was the way to go.

"Hmm, never thought I'd root for fire. Well, anyway, we have to be positive, Breezy! Next patrol to walk through that entrance will be carrying along a sheep the size of the Breeze rock. Food for days!"

Say... bringing a sheep home didn't sound like a bad idea- dead, of course. As far as Rushingmoor knew, sheep hunting wasn't encouraged. Those things could stomp a cat dead pretty easily and he only knew of one attempt to kill one which had involved multiple patrols of cats. Maybe if he tried to get one at night, though...

"Hmm? Oh, yeah, nothing much going on in my life at the moment. We are taking a break on Stag adventures since the last mishap and the kid is becoming a warrior soon anyway- won't have time for an old chaperone like me anymore."

Was that insecurity? Mushy would have to unpack that later.

The time had come. Mushy had finally worked up the courage to talk to Twilight again after Stag spilled the beans. It had been somewhere around a moon of avoidance and awkwardness and Rushingmoor could no longer take the suspense. It was better at this point to simply let Twi reject him and let his feelings for her die. They were already good friends and Mushy was content to continue being her friend and someone whom she could rely upon amongst all of the stress of her life. As long as he got to be there for her, he didn’t need anything else. Besides, Mushy knew she loved him as a friend in her own way- even if she didn’t show it. Platonic love was just as important! His romantic feelings for her would fade with time but as long as she was ok with them still being friends, his platonic love for her would only grow!

“Twigs? You in here?”

Enough overthinking- time to act. In an effort to make this less awkward, Rushingmoor tried to avoid making this meeting seem much different from any other time he’d trundled into her den to annoy her. He paused and stumbled at the entrance uncertainly, but straightened himself and walked right in as he always did. They were still friends. He would only make this more awkward by acting like they were strangers!

"Another bundle of joy," Twilightstar commented as she came upon the bright-eyed youngster.
"Not to burst your bubble, but do you know your trespassing right?" The molly was a little bit stoic with the colder weather, not really in the mood to be all bright and sunny like the younger cat before her.

Twilightstar gave a soft sigh but didn't seem at all upset with the molly. She wasn't sure what it was like to be blind, but it was probably hard getting around now and then.
"It's alright, you need to be more careful in the future. If it happens again I'll have to confine you in camp or make sure you have an escort when leaving camp." It was a little extreme, but she couldn't spare cats to mistakes like this, not when the weather was like this.

Twilightstar was just going to follow along with the kits for now. She might attempt to wrap her head around the rest last when she was bored.

Twilightstar wasn't able to work out the timeframe in her head, she supposed so long as Stormstrike wanted the kits and was back that's all that matter.
"Well come along," She meowed, beckoning the cat as she rose from where she sat in contemplation.
"Let's have you checked out by Coldamber and get you settled in the nursery." Twilightstar's head hurt a little like she had a very deep and dumb conversation with Parasite about something utterly moronic. Perhaps Coldamber could make more sense of this.

Deadpool padded into the clearing, bright eyes glancing around until she spotted the WindClan Deputy. She padded over to Breezefeather, fighting off the urge to pin her ears back and growl at him for putting her with Pestpaw. But that would be disrespectful, and she didn't want to get yowled at.
"Patrol did, no mess no troubling sides Pestpaw. Caught bit of prey, not much found." The she-cat reported, itching to go lay down.

”Oh I am?” She tilted her head, “I can leave it you want..I don’t have anywhere else to go.” She mewed softly, sorta sad. Before, her ears perked up, mewing suddenly, “Or! I could join your group! I could help you out and such!” Her tail stuck up, her eyes suddenly glimmering with happiness.
