He could either ignore her, and turn back around and go to sleep, she wouldn't bother him. He knew that. If she did, well, Wolfglare was large enough to shove her away, maybe a little harder then necessary. Or, he could continue to talk, something that isn't the best idea to do with Wolfglare. His words can be vary vague and hard to respond to. 'Well, maybe ask something more meaningful if you want to start a conversation, let's start with that okay?" He meowed, sitting up and turning around to face this she-cat, whose name he was still trying to rack his brain for. It was quite a harsh statement if you thought about it, and the way he said it didn't make it sound any nicer. Wolfglare wasn't a nice cat to begin with, and he was very honest. Most cats would call it blunt, but no, he was truly honest with every word he said. He doesn't agree though, that it can be called blunt, because his scary demeanor and supposedly "evil" outlook made him "not honest but blunt" according to other cats. But not to Wolfglare. Of course, he didn't care what other cats thought of him.
Wolfglare was not evil, but many cats were weary around him, because of the way he acted. yes, he was alive during the second EE, he was a young warrior then. And his parents were firm supporters of the EE. Wolfglare? Not at all. He fought against the EE leaders. He believes in Starclan, but his life doesn't depend on them. He leaves that to the medicine cats. Yes, Wolfglare did believe that Blazingnight was a strong leader, because she was. She just chose the wrong path, that's all. But now, Shadowclan was stuck with a weak leader, and a weak deputy. They needed to be strong again. "Well, to be honest, I don't know who you are, and I don't happen to know your name. I do know your relations though." Oh Wolfglare, ever the clever one. If he wanted to talk, then oh boy, could he talk. He would be the best debater in the clan if he talked more. But no, Wolfglare doesn't talk. Words are meaningless to him. At least most words. "And, sorry to say, but no, your sister is not a great deputy. In fact, I think she needs to be replaced. We need a stronger leadership. Halestar needs to be replaced as well." Wolfglare narrowed his ice blue eyes, standing up to his full height as he confronted the she-cat.
"Shadowclan needs to be feared and respected once more."
Chrysanthemumshade felt her body tense for a moment at the tom's hostility. She blinked her eyes a couple times, flitting them around the den. Well, at anything except for him. Had she ever experienced such disrespect? Well, no. Of course not. She wasn't used to the disrespect. Most of the cats she talked to--if, any at all, were moderately nice to her. The conversations never lasted long, but it was still a much nicer response than this tom was giving. However, the feline refused to back down from this tom. Despite his extremely large size, and rough demeanor, she couldn't allow herself to show weakness. That was never Chrysanthemumshade. Oh, no. As harsh as it sounds, she would leave that to her sister, Cloverwhisker. Slowly, her guard began to come down, and she put on a calm smile. Behind it, there was no genuine one. "Well, it takes two to have a conversation, buddy." She spat, but tried to keep her tone far from anger. She only just started talking to this cat and he was acting like such a--such a--such a!... What was the right word for it? Chrysanthemumshade couldn't pick a word in particular, but the harshest word there was, and all the synonyms that followed after it.
Initially, she had started the conversation. She literally walked up to him and asked if he were okay. At the time, he responded sensely, but he still held such a stern tone that she didn't know if her company was accepting to him or not. At this point, it most likely wasn't. She was debating if she would leave this tom to do whatever he pleased and seek out her sister--or any other friendly cat, or if she would stay and see if he would lighten up. As she checked him over, looking at him from paws to head, she nodded to herself. He probably would never be nice. She would had giggled, but that would probably set him on fire.
Fire...?
Her thought was cut short as she heard his next words. She realized that she could say the same for him. Even if she didn't know his relations or who he truly was. She only seen him around a couple times, and never bothered to stop and say hello or anything of the sort. She was the type of cat to not acknowledge anyone. And, it wasn't her being mean. No, not at all. Unknown to others, she was quite the small introvert; little words to say, unless she was with well known felines that understood her. An example would be her siblings who she loved to annoy. Chrysanthemumshade delicately sat down, wrapping her tail around her body limply. As her insides felt rigid, she applied herself to be in a calm manner in front of the tom. "Well, if you want my name, perhaps you'll get it by being a lot nicer." She huffed, completely not thinking as to why she blurted that out. What was she doing? Asking for a fight? Asking to be let down again? Judging from the tom's tone from earlier, she would think that he didn't care to get to know her, therefore not caring to know her name. He could just turn away whenever he wanted when he became tired of her. Chrysanthemumshade dubbed him as such a cat. She, herself would never back down from another for some odd reason. She was a competitive one at practically anything.
Chrysanthemumshade jumped up, her tail lashing. It was one thing to be disrespectful towards her, but it was another to say anything about her siblings. The she cat held in a growl, and even if the tom appeared much larger than herself, she allowed herself to step up, fueled on the anger that was pulsating through her when it came to her family. "Just so you know, my sister would make a great deputy! A leader of she were given a chance!" Her eyes half-lids, "What are you physic now? Can you see into the future that my sister would had made a weak leader? Sometimes even the deemed weak leaders could be some of the strongest." She rolled her eyes. She had a right to be angry. He had outright insulted her sister. Did he expect her not to be defensive about it? Then, she huffed, and she stared at him, a smirk on her maw. "Do you suppose that you would had been a great leader?" She could laugh. It was such a laughable thought that she thought of him as such. Truthfully, he would probably be more feared because of his size, but other than that? She didn't expect much more.

Can we do it?" Sparrowpaw asked eagerly, now more excited about the fact that he could do what his mentor never fought him and probably never will.
(Sorry short)
@NightWarrior4Life (Its fine, writers block happens often.)
"Alright then," Winterdream spoke suddenly, and a bit firmly, her fluffy plume tail lashing in concentration. He did seem a bit older... She thought with a bit of confirmation, a little excited look shining in her optics to be practicing moves, it was one of her favorite things to do really as an apprentice, besides helping the elders with ticks and new moss, or catching prey for the queens, kits, and the elders too. Winterdream was probably one of the only cats to enjoy some of these activities, she enjoyed the elders stories of old, and it was nice to listen to them to. "Lets try it then." The warrior instructed, or rather told Sparrowpaw, tail lashing from behind her as she waited for the apprentice to start. An apprentice, that was another thing she wanted to do hopefully rather soon, or later. Winterdream was a rather ambitious cat, as was her mother, when she was a alive, and thus that trait was passed down to her. Her nicked ear twitched slightly as she thought, a pleasant array of thoughts, well not very pleasant really. She was not very close to her mother as a kit, for her ambition proved her to be rather not so good at caring for her and her two other siblings. But that didn't mean she wasn't a bad mother. No no, Snowdrift was a wonderful, kind, but slightly twisted mother to Winterpaw, and her ambition killed her that day, the day of liberation.
She didn't really care all to much for it, sure she grieved, but since they weren't very close at the time, she was an apprentice then so it didn't matter, she didn't really know her well anyway, so it wasn't that much of a deal for her. That isn't to say she didn't love her, just that she seem that loved by her at times. She didn't really know how to care for them at times which left her with the other queens at times, more often than she and her siblings should of had. But, it wasn't time to dilly dally on the past, she had battle practice to do.

Though she understood why everyone was eating that way, prey was still quite scarce and the clan cats were only beginning to gain weight again after a long and cold leaf bare. As he rolled she noticed how the fur clung to his bones rather than strong muscles, though it didn't strike her as strange or unhealthy. Everyone looked like that right now, herself included. She was especially thin as she hadn't been good at hunting when she'd left the clan injured. Though her pride needed repair. "Thank you." She mumbled to him once she had finished the mouse. "It was delicious." She smiled, the went to grooming herself quickly before bed, licking the side of her paw and running it over her face. At least the snow was pretty much completely off the forest floor now. The warm weather would soon return and life would be easy once again.
Jaguarclaw gave her a friendly smile after she had begun to groom herself. Quietly, he licked his maw and moved to his chest before going over his paws with steady rasps. Even with a quick once over, his pelt looked a tad bit better than what he normally did. However, as his olive hues glanced towards the black and white she-cat again, he thought for a moment about his next move. His tail twitched rapidly before he scooted himself out of his nest and partially into her. It was a sort of awkward position as part of his body was on the bare ground while the other parts were in his nest and hers. Nothing surprising after the night before, however. Without another thought, Jaguarclaw allowed older, ignored clan traditions take over. He didn't speak, didn't explain what he was doing, he simply let his pink tongue rasp over her shoulder fur softly at first. He wasn't sure how she'd react. Jaguarclaw merely wanted to part-take in this grooming exercise. Heat flooded his ears a bit, but he ignored it because he didn't want to look silly in front of Marbledface again.

They were to nervous to say those type of kind things allowed, but they hoped that silent their friend would know how much they meant to them. Their purrs soothed them, closing their eyes and deciding to focus their state of mind on the cat infront of them.

¨I couldve died today.¨
Their tone was soft, though they were close enough to the others ear that they shouldve caught it. It was true, they could have died today. Pine had come into an acceptance of death though, not really caring. It was the after math that scared them, while he didnt know to many cats they were sure it would have affected Creek somehow. And they didnt want that, they silently promised to stay by their side aslong as they could.

That promise prevented them from doing anything stupid.
Pinewatcher was close, they were safe; nothing else mattered at that moment. Creekgaze would bitterly despise the world 'til its very end for the things it had done to the larger enby; they did not deserve the things that happened to them, especially not Screechpaw's death. It brought a sense of melancholy, reflecting on the ways their self-hatred affected them, but Creek pushed it down: they would live in the present. For now.
"I know," they murmured, appreciative of Pinewatcher's consideration for their deafness. "I'm sorry. I should have been there."

If nothing else would keep the pair alive, they would have to live for eachother.

At first she was a little surprised by his sudden movement. Though as he gently began grooming her shoulder she felt relief spread through her. She hadn't shared tongues with a clanmate in awhile and she'd rather forgotten what a nice surprise it was. Especially where with her mobility issues it could be rather strenuous to reach some of those spots on her shoulder blades and along her spine. Her skin twitched at the unfamiliar feeling of someone else helping her groom, but by the third or fourth lick she was relaxed into the touch. Marbledface felt head flooding her own ears, as she felt some what like a kit again; needing aid in grooming. After quickly glancing to see Jaguarclaw's relaxed expression though she felt relaxed herself. Without wanting to, a soft purr rumbled deep in her chest and her ears momentarily flushed with embarrassment again, a sort of shy and unfamiliar feeling creeping deep in her chest and making her feel light and giddy. Her emerald hues looked at the tom's mussed fur and shifted her weight so that she was a little better propped up. That way she was able to lean forward and return the favor, smoothing his spotted fur down. The mottled molly continued her low grumbling purr as she groomed him, she was upset by the feeling of his bones beneath the fur, strong green leaf muscles deteriorated. She hoped that they would soon return and that his green leaf best would be back. Like when they had first met almost twelve moons ago now. Back when the weather was just beginning to turn sour for leaf fall. The thought made her smile, it always did. He was the first cat to experience all of her on the first day. Not just her strong and independent side, but also her hidden compassionate side and the truth about her health. He'd still stuck by her, despite her multiple flaws and imperfections which constantly made her lose her confidence, made her want to abandon her dreams. Though with Jaguarclaw at her side she felt better. Her fears and discomforts washed away when she was at his side, his support was something she rather depended on now. Her purr strengthened as she thought about how thankful she was for his friendship. Her mind didn't want to explore what more it could mean yet, love was still a very frightening thing for her. Though she couldn't ever see the bengal tom cat abandoning her like her father had done with their family; but it was the fact that Eversong hadn't expected Iceclaw to abandon her that left Marbledface perpetually fearful of loving and being loved. "Thanks for being there for me..." She whispered to him, pausing to push her cheek against his shoulder and hold it there for a moment's rest before resuming grooming. As much as she denied the thoughts, she knew underneath it all that she was falling hard for him. Harder than she'd ever imagined herself falling for another. She'd always imagined that her love life would be constantly questioning her partner, never fully trusting them, but here she was letting all of her secrets be revealed to this tom. Even thought their status laid at friendship still she'd confided in him things that no other cat knew about her, and the fact that he knew her secrets didn't scare her. It left a weight off her shoulders. That trust, it wasn't something she had pictured herself finding nor did she expect to find that ever again. So rather than confessing any deeper emotions, she rather settled for just thanking him for his support and friendship. it was easier that way, though beneath her fur she could feel an anxiety developing, one that wanted her to say everything she was feeling. Though she knew it was only her second day back, she couldn't just jump to conclusions. He might have made knew friends, developed connections with others. As much as that pained Marbledface to think, she didn't want to selfishly confess anything that would harm their friendship. Even if his heart laid with another cat, the mottled molly would be able to accept that if she could at least keep his friendship; or so she wanted to think. The thought made her chest ache as she continued grooming his fur, smoothing the soft spotted pattern into smooth submission.

His chest welled with happiness and he couldn't be more pleased with who his mentor would be. it was a warrior that he already knew, which made things easier. She seemed to respect him for what he was too, not what his mother was. It made him smile as she ran over and he touched his nose to hers as is custom. Though he didn't say anything past that, and waited respectfully for the leader to finish announcing the new apprentices. Once Halestar was done he looked over at the molly and smiled. "I'm glad you will be my mentor." He said to her, his voice honest and filled with excitement. He wondered what they would start with and where their training would take them. He wanted to live up to his father's name and become a great warrior, and a perfect hunter.
The snowy white warrior blinked and processed the toms statement, trying to figure out if it was true or not. After a few seconds of thinking she replaced her puzzled gaze with a softer, less sharp smile, her green orbs glittered with joy. She had grown to like the Tom, he was always so cheery and sweet, polite and caring, he reminded of herself really, although he had a little more self esteem than herself. She shuffled her ebony paws and gave her new apprentice a goofy grin, "I'm happy that you feel the same way I do." she purred, her voice was soft and silky, and she really was, she was overjoyed that Mountainpaw had become her apprentice, she couldn't have asked for a more capable Tom. "I am excited to teach you all I know! And then some of course." she giggled, her tail flicked. Sheepface twitched her whiskers and realized that he may be itching to get going, although she wasn't. She gave the young Tom a shy smile and dipped her head "We'll start your training first thing in the morning, for now, get some rest alright?" she stated before she padded back towards the nursery, hoping that Mountainpaw wouldn't mind her decision.

Their dedication flattered Creekgaze-- it was clear that they meant a lot to Pinewatcher, but their point still stood, or at least it did.. to them. If Pine had good hearing, and Creek eyesight honed enough to see the dog from far off, perhaps Screechpaw would have lived to see his warrior ceremony. Purring thickly at the touch given to their neck, Creekgaze mumbled, "Thank you, friend. It means a lot."
