Chris had a perfect shot. He aimed at the Renegade. He was about to shoot, but the light ribbon distracted him. Chris drove past the light ribbon. He wasn't that good at driving. But he could aim. He stood up on his bike, and shot a single shot at the Renegade. The shot aimed for the same wound that the Renegade had. Once the shot was fired, he drove to the side.

Mara swerved out of the way in the nick of time, making a jump onto a lower road. She hoped the firewall wouldn't be able to follow.

Chris did the jump, but barley. He shot at the bike, not aiming at all. He wasted all his ammo doing that. He drove faster. And faster. His staff was able to reach the bike. He tried to drive his staff into the wheel. He tried and failed. He tried again, but missed. He tried a finale time. He made it. He drove the staff into the wheel of the lightcycle. But since he was doing that, he was paying attention and his bike fell to the side. He slid onto the ground, and into a wall.

(I have to do this-- hope you like the Game Grumps... Heheheh)
The lightcycle returned to a baton, sending the two programs flying. Mara, being not as injured as Beck, (at least to her knowledge) was able to pick herself back up. She needed to make sure Beck was safe. She painfully rebooted the bike, making slower headway than before, but still making progress.

Jaran stopped his lightcycle before going to Beck and Mara. He narrowed his eyes at the dying program in the corner but got on his bike and waited for Mara.

The mechanics were long gone, but that didn't mean the streets were empty.
A lone she-program wandered between alleys, curious as to what all the commotion was about.
She turned a corner, tentatively looking both ways before leaving the safety of the darkness.
