Otterkit looked at the entrance. Why wasn't momma coming back? she thought with a tilt of her head. It had been hours. Otterkit's brain started going places. Does she not love me? her heart pounded in her chest. Otterkit stood up and looked back at the other cats around the clearing. Shouldn't they know momma has been gone for a long time?

Honeymoon looked up at Mossfall, there wasn't anything that could be done. The scent of foxes was strong on Honeymoon. "Moss...Otter..." was all she could say as the light faded out of her eyes, and her breath went still.
Honeymoon woke up in Starclan, her gaze looked around at the cats she knew who had long passed away. Her heart soared as she took in every cat...but her heart broke as she left the one cat she loved most in the world...Otterkit.

Otterkit turned her gaze back to the entrance, her eyes sparkled as she saw Mossfall padding into camp with Honeymoon being pulled behind. She watched as Mossfall put her down in the camp clearing, she watched as Mossfall turned and looked at her and said those words I'm sorry. Otterkit looked up at Mossfall then at her mother's body, she padded over to Honeymoon. "Mama!" she said as she climbed over her body, falling down on the other side. Otterkit stood up and shook her fur before she turned to look at Honeymoon. She took in the blood, the slash marks. "Mama?" she said as she nudged her with her paws. Her gaze shifted to Mossfall, tears filled her eyes. "What's wrong with Mama?"

Otterkit looked at Mossfall crying, she heard the last two words even if it was a stutter. Dead? "No...." she shook her head, tears finally spilling down her face. "No...mama can't be dead." she cried softly. Her blurry gaze shifted back to Honeymoon's body. "Mama! MAMA!" She screamed, nudging her even hard. "WAKE UP!" she cried, the tiny kitten moved close to her mother and curled up in a ball beside her belly.

Otterkit looked at her mother's dead body, then back at Mossfall. Slowly Otterkit padded over to Mossfall and threw herself into the she-cat's soft fur.

* She pulled Otterkit close. She gave the kit a small lick on her head and bent down picking her up. She padded towards the nursery and looked back to Currentkit who stumbled over to the nursery. Mossfall laid down and placed Otterkit in the crook of her body. She pulled her closer and nuzzled her lightly. Currentkit curled up next to Mossfall and Otterkit. *
" Don't worry. I've got you. "
