The leader's den sat atop an overhanging ledge. The clan meeting spot was below the ledge down in the center of the hollow.

Mossfall sat in the clearing cleaning her pelt. She was a sander of the clan and was trying to clean her pelt of the sand.

Shellsnap wandered around the camp, occasionally checking the condition of the ground. She saw a sander sitting around. "Mossfall!" Shellsnap yowled and stomped over. "Did you bring any prey, at all? From what I can see, the prey pile barely has a bit of bones!" She made her tail bristle. Shellsnap didn't want to yowl. Her voice was feeling creaky already, but they needed prey and some cat needed to protect the camp from any outsiders or predators.

Shellsnap tilted her head internally. Though, outsiders could be useful. The more the merrier for the clan. The dang outsiders just have to get used to having sand in their pelts.

Shellsnap directed her gaze back to Mossfall and narrowed her eyes.

* She looked up as Shellsnap her deputy paded over. She sat up and shook her head. *
" No Shellsnap. I'll head out now and bring some back. "
* She mewed with a determined tone. She stood up and bounded out of the hollow. She decided to head towards the sandbank and find any fish that happen to wash up and also search for any Ravens who might be hidden there or picking among the trash. She remebered to roll around in the sand to blend in with the beach. *

Oceanstar padded up to his deputy. "Calm down, it's just prey not the end of the world" He growled, his tone inviting no argument. The Beachclan leader gave a gentle grunt. Padding over to check the condition of the camp, his tail flicking around as he looked around. "Shellsnap, be useful instead of yelling and KINDLY help Sandyshore clean up the nests. Now. " Oceanstar ordered. Watching as Sandyshore looked up, dipping her head and padding over. Oceanstar watched them start to clean then padded out after Mossfal, coming up behind her with soft, almost silent pawsteps. He sat beside her and watched. "If Shellsnap unessasarily tells you off again, or is loud in my camp. Report it to me. She doesn't tolerate disrespect, so she should show respect to earn it." Oceanstar meowed quietly. His blue eyes showing that he expected this conversation to stay between them.

Oceanstar narrowed his eyes. Oceanstar growled at the medicine cat. His gaze patient and coldly calm in almost a menacing way, his silent way of showing he did not approve of his medicine cat trying to take charge of things. Coldly meowing. "Oh? Ivybloom such a surprise. I didn't remember putting you in charge of me." Oceanstar meowed. Oceanstar's blue eyes narrowed in silent warning. "Shellsnap will continue to clean the camp as previously ordered. Though after Shellsnap talks with Ivybloom, and Shellsnap, if you snap at Ivybloom one time, your disrespect pet peeve I'll become my greatest distribution do you understand? I will not have cats demanding respect and not giving any."

A low growl rumbled in the medicine cat´s throat. ´´As your medicine cat, Oceanstar, I believe that I am a higher level of authority than you,´´ She meowed, her voice coldly polite. ´´You have no right to be silencing your medicine cat. You, of all cats, Oceanstar, should know that silencing your medicine cat is against the warrior code.´´

She gave a lash of her tail. ´´I am responsible for taking care of my Clanmates, making sure that they stay healthy. Remember that next time you are ill or injured, I will have every right to refuse to treat you. I´ll treat you the way you treat me.´´

Ivybloom stood her ground, her green eyes narrowed as she met Oceanstar´s gaze with equal authority, if not more. ´´I can also take you out of that rank, Oceanstar. You know that the warrior code was amended to say that if a leader is to be deposed, it has to come from the inside of the Clan, and that the group has to have the medicine cat´s agreement.´´

´´And right now, I wouldn´t hesitate to agree.´´

* She looked between the two her mouth a gape. Never before had she see them fight this much over a small misunderstanding. She shoved her way between the two and shook her head. *
" S-stop please. Were a clan not a bunch of rogues. I-it was my fault for her snapping at me like that. I hadn't brought any prey back from when I first went out. "

Oceanstar growled. "You do not have higher authority than me. I am your leader. You would not be in that position without. Do not question me again or I will take it away from you." Oceanstar bared his teeth. "You have no right to take me out of my rank, you are not Starclan. So stop acting all high and mighty and arguing when I gave you the ok. The only thing I said was do not bully me around. And you will NOT bully me around. Do I make myself clear" Oceanstar snarled.

Oceanstar then turned to Mossfall, "It's not your fault, Shellsnap needs to learn not every cat is someone for her to snap at. Though I do expect you to bring back prey. This discussion is over and," He turned to Ivybloom. "If any cat brings up this foolishness again. I will not hesitate to demote them" Oceanstar growled, ending the arguement then and there. Hell if anything, Sandyshore knew about herbs. She could turn into temperorary medicine cat if anything.

[ that is not how it works. a medicine cat cannot be kicked out, especially whenever you know that oceanstar is wrong and ivybloom is right. you´re being unfair. ]
