If he were to be honest, Fernpaw was a little apprehensive about facing Peachfuzz in a battle training session. No offense to her-- on the contrary, he was pretty sure the massive she-cat might accidentally crush him due to her sheer size. He was naught but an ant in comparison; insignificant and easily smashed.

Still, he was here. Ready to be squashed like the bug he was. Unsure if he should speak or not, he waited patiently for her to start.

Peachfrost felt a bit of extra pep in her step at the idea of helping Fernpaw, excited to finally have the chance to take part in one of the best warrior duties there was. And with this little cutie? Oh she was ready.

Without a word spoken, the massive she-cat rushed towards Fernpaw with sheathed claws. If Fernpaw was too slow or too scared to move (she prayed he wasn't) he would get a headbutt that would send him flying. Let's see what his instincts are. We can build upon his initial fighting style.

Shattervenom wasn't sure when Raypaw had strayed from her side… she's been sure that the blond tabby had been keeping up with her when they left camp. Had his scent following her to the border been a mirage? Had he gotten bored, disappointed with being paired up with a warrior he barely knew? No… surely that hadn't been the case. Shatter liked to think that they boy would've grabbed her attention before leaving… perhaps someone else took Ray's focus, needing him for something else. Hunting, or training. Important stuff.

Luckily, the patrol proved uneventful. Shattervenom discovered another beehive locked into a rotting log that spanned the river, its angry buzzing texturing the air like sandpaper. The huntress checked it out briefly, determined that it wasn't a threat, and moved on, finishing her work with updating the territory scent markings. She hadn't met any RiverClan cats, and hadn't made an effort to seek any out. Sighing, the tall she-cat brushed though the wet reeds and waving grasses back home.

Unfortunately, her anxiety spiked as she drew toward camp… and Fallownose. How was she supposed to explain returning alone? Excuses burned on her tongue, although her teeth were clenched tight. Shatter really, really, really didn't want to rat her clanmates out… but she didn't want to be punished for completing the patrol on her own, either.

The snow-spattered black cat marched up to Fallownose, expression blank. "No activity noted near the RiverClan border. Scent markings have been reestablished. I noted a beehive nested in a log that crosses over the river, but as long as nobody disturbs it, the hive shouldn't be dangerous. Anything else you'd like to know, Fallownose?"

Please let the deputy accept this news. Please let him move on. Shattervenom swallowed, her dry throat catching on the gesture.

Heather’Tail, had already finished her meal, but she would try to not talk to frequently so Mud’Flare could actually eat. She stifled a chuckle, she didn’t want to make the elder think she was laughing at him; That would be rude! ||

Mudflare finished a bite and responded to the mollies greeting. "Hello. Nice day today huh?" He said, simply making nervous small talk.

Where did she want to go? She didn't know nor did she really care where they went. She hated being stuck in camp. Even a walk was sounding nice right about now. "Anywhere, but here.", she meowed. There was no rudeness in her voice at all. She was just showing she just wanted out of camp for a while, even if it was only for a couple of minutes. Rabbitpaw hoped ahe hadn't scare him too bad. It would make her feel awful.

Mud stood straighter and said "O-ok then. Let's take a walk, and do some hunting on the way" He hoped the apprentice would come along, it would make him feel bad if they declined and went to ask a warrior.

Fallownose frowned as she mentioned an incident with another warrior. Vineblaze was the only tom who in the Clan who had the prefix, he would have to talk to him about respecting the elders soon. "Well, I'm glad you're back. Go see Cowpaw to make sure everything is alright and then I'll send an apprentice to your den to make sure you have a nest and some prey."
