Usiku stared at her for a long time, musing over what he would do. He could hear Giza telling him to kill her, but he wasn't going to do that. He then chuckled, shaking his head. That's right. She and Atazi were quite... close. "I wonder just how close you are to Atazi." He mused, turning his head. "I despise the idea, of course, but..." He landed his eyes on her. "I will do whatever it takes to ensure my daughter is at my side."

Up in the morning,

Usiku picked up Sade, placing her down on the ground and walking. He flicked his tail, gesturing for Sade to follow.

Up on the mountain,

He stopped at the border between the Pridelands and the Outlands, his eyes cold.

Usiku fixed Sade with a cold gaze- once again, the stare of a leader, and not of a father.

Atazi.... Sade felt her claws dig into the soil. I can't let her get hurt. But I don't want to work for this creep either. Koja always said to never get close. "That girl...is of no importance to me," she made her voice hollow and empty. "You are of no importance to me. I've fended for myself my entire life. I won't tell you anything, especially the killer of my mother."
(Get as creative as you possibly can. I like messing with Sade. It's fun x3)

"Its hard being leader." Kion said suddenly, sounding thoughtful.
"Its hard being a future Queen." Kiara giggled.
"Heh, yeah." Kion smiled.
"But..." Kiara looked down into the gorge.

"This life that we lead." She sang quietly.

"This role of leadership." Kion followed her gaze.

"Never said it would be easy,
Sometimes I stumble and trip.
And yet you get back up,
Get stronger from the fall.
It's part of our role..."

"'Cause in the end of it all," Kiara and Kion smiled, turning and heading off.

"It's the path of honor, those duties we hold," They looked at eachother, and smirked.

"We must face them head-on, we must be bold.
It's our life's calling to help our friends,
It's the path of honor,
Till the Pride Lands' end!"

"At times it seems too much," Kion admitted, weaving around a tree.

"You handle it all in stride." Kiara smiled confidently.

"I have to find it within me,
It comes from deep inside."

"It's more then I expected," Kion chuckled.

"But still, sometimes it's fun." Kiara bounded ahead.

"I try to do my best!" Kion followed.

"And we can soldier on!" Kiara purred.

Till the Pride Lands' end!"

"I never thought I'd be a hero." Kion stopped at the base of Pride Rock, watching a painting of him appear on the rocks.

"I had doubts about being a Queen." Kiara stood beside him, watching a painting of her appear on the rocks beside Kion's.

"And yet, we've both embraced our roles." Kion turned to her.

"That's part of what we bring." Kiara grinned at her brother.

"What we bring!" They turned and leaped up the rocks, grinning.

"It's the path of honor, these duties we hold!
We must face them head on, we must be bold!" They stood side by side, padding forward toward the edge.

"It's our life's calling to help our friends!
It's the path of honor,
It's the path of honor!
Till the Pride Lands end!" Kion puffed his chest out and Kiara raised her head proudly. Older sister and younger brother exchanged looks as they gazed over the Pridelands. Their lands. As future Queen and leader of the Lion Guard, matching eachother stride by stride, they stepped forward, heads raised, eyes shining.

"Till the Pride Lands' end!"

Usiku suddenly lashed out, pinning Sade to the ground. His eyes were full of fire, rage. "Really, then?" He growled, picking her up with his paw and slamming her to the ground once more. "I guess I can kill her, if she means nothing to you. Maybe I'll hunt down Koja as well. You have no choice, Sade. I don't care if you're my daughter, I will not hesitate to make you watch every single person close to you die, I will drag everyone you know here to die." He spat, applying more pressure. "Then once they're all dead, I will begin my attack on the Pridelands with or without your help. I will slaughter every lion within it's borders, and I will begin an era of bloodshed and death. Peace is no longer an option Sade. You're too stubborn to manipulate, and that makes me very angry." He hissed.

Sade gasped, trying to catch a breath and Usiku's paw pressed against her entire body, including her neck. "Let me....go...."
"Pops?" Sade strained her neck to look back. Tsuki was standing a few feet away with wide eyes. "What are you doing!?"

"You know what," Kion smiled. "...I do love being leader of the Lion Guard. I love saving animals. That's my role."
Kiara giggled. "And I love being the future Queen. I love doing what I can for the Pridelands."
"That's one thing we have in common." Kion smiled over at her.
"Yeah." Kiara smirked softly, then nudged him. "If Mom and Dad saw us right now, you know what they'd say."
"'Oh, look at that, Kion and Kiara getting along for once in their lives and not wanting to rip eachother's fur off!'" Kion joked, and the two laughed.

Usiku glared at Tsuki, his voice sharp. "Tsuki, get Giza." He snarled. "You'll understand in a moment." He glared down at Sade, before he removed his paw. His eyes flickered briefly, and he placed a paw to his head. "Not this again..." He groaned, his head pounding. Upon opening his eyes, they were strangely full of confusion, rather than rage.

(Usiku is dealing with Intermittent Explosive Disorder.)

Sade coughed and gasped in a large amount of air.
"You could've killed her!" Tsuki exclaimed.

Usiku didn't look at Tsuki. "Get Giza, now." He said, his voice cracking.

(I like my characters to have an actual reason behind why they do what they do. Like, for instance, Tanya has Asperger's Syndrome, explaining why she will talk and talk and talk, why she's socially awkward, why she's so emotional, etc.)
(Usiku also heavily relies on his younger brother for support after he does something he didn't mean to do. This is why Gia has been able to convince him so easily to hate the Pridelands, and many other things- it's because Usiku relies on him for so much.)
