Pride welled in his chest, causing Sleetpaw to stand a little straighter. It felt good to be praised, especially by his mentor! And not to mention that he had gotten it right! Listening carefully to Poppytwist, Sleetpaw nodded and crouched carefully after her. His form was sloppy and his tail seemed to graze the ground a few times, but he wasn't being that loud!

"Upwind," He whispered quietly to himself, "Downwind.." Although slightly distracted by his mumbling, he followed her signal to hang back and watch. OH STARS! THAT WAS AMAZING!

"WOAH! Poppytwist that was awesome!" Almost immediately after she had caught the squirrel, Sleetpaw was leaping from his spot to examine the catch.

"Teach me! Teach me how!"

"Can we see the WindClan border, please?" Berrypaw was getting a tiny bit tired, but she didn't want to admit it. She knew she could make it for a while longer. She wanted to impress her mentor by showing she could keep up. Plus, there wasn't a whole lot to do in camp other than apprentice chores. Berrypaw didn't want to play nursery games because she didn't want to look like a baby. So staying in the territory as long as she could manage was the best option. The young apprentice stretched her legs and stood up tall to look as awake as she possibly could. "See? I'm not tired at all!"

"Yes, of course." The mentor happily chirped to her apprentice.I'll just keep a close eye on her to make sure that she doesn't too tired. Shimmeringpool thought to herself. Luckily from the Shadowclan border, they just had to go south and walk along Windclans border until they reached camp.
She giggled at Berrypaw's determination to appear unfazed and not tired. "Okayyy. It's fine if you get tired and want to go back to the camp." She just wanted her apprentice to know and to feel free to open up to the warrior.
It was beautiful to watch the scenery change from the forest to the open moor. To see green to a light brown and purple. It still took her breath away to see the heather. The sight brought back memories from her short visit at Windclan.

Creekleap padded down the stream, perking her ears. Any splash could be false, any could be real. She carefully listened. That Rushpaw was a genius! @Mumble

Poppytwist laughed through the prey. Then she set it down and looked at her apprentice.
"Well of course I'll teach you how! That is what we are here for. First, I want you to tell me what you noticed about my catch. What did I do that helped catch the prey?"
