Spikes frowned at her words, about to talk back, but he shut his mouth and turned to the nursery, a happy smile reversing his mood and brightening his face. He let out a playful growl before dragging the pups out into the sunlight.

She returned with some elders and watched everyone eat, pleased that she had been able to provide for her clan.

Spikes also felt pleased, but it was only because of the pup's reaction and the effort that he and Rio had put into the catch. He stayed a moment longer before padding off, glancing back only once as he went, his heart warming as he watched the young'uns play.

He continued onward, his paws unconsciously leading him right back to his field of daises, where he found Clover.

Spikes turned the rest of his body to face the wolf, the corners of his mouth curling up in a snarl that he forced back down. He was already irritated by the fact that he couldn't just have the field to himself, but now the other wolf was talking to him too?

" What do you want?"

The growl rose from his throat, and he kept himself from snarling. He asked in the poorest possible way, his eyes looking away from the wolf.

"Mind your own buisness!" Spikes snapped back at Rio, flashing his teeth and turning back towards Clover.

" Look, you stay in one side of the field, I'll stay on mine, and there will be no problems." He barked, trying to calm himself down. I get frustrated easily... And over nothing.

Her eyes widened in shock and sadness and her mouth gapped sadly at his sharp response. lowering her tail she barked "fine Goodbye!" she turned and ran back to her den crying as she ran. (Btw she has a crush on Clover and spikes if it's ok with u guys i kinda want their to be a conflict with her choosing or something but i want to ask ya first)

(Yeah that would be interesting! Spikes will be hard to get to though... It's kinda like he built up a fortress around his heart. I'm thinking maybe he had something tragic happen in his past, so now he trusts no one and loves and helps the pups because he doesn't want them ending up like him?)

(Well then she will keep trying also glad u approve) Rio quickened her pace, tears still streaming down her face it was such a nice sunhigh, the birds were loud and shrill but she couldn’t enjoy it while the two wolves bickered. Slowly she slowed her pace and whispered, “what do you want?” She said in a blissful and choking voice. @Hyp3rGamin
