Thistlefrost looked surprised, before grumbling something under his breath, playfully kicking her off, getting up,crouched as if hes about to pounce.
" Yeah right, as if I would be trusted with my own, anyway. " he chuckled, before pouncing at her, planning to at least make Alderblossom go off-balance.

Brownkit was sitting alone in the corner of the clearing, paws covered in dirt as she shuffled them around in a poor attempt at digging. Today, Brownkit was going to plant a tree. Or, some other plant... She wasn't quite sure what this seed was, but she found it fair and square, and was going to put a very nice plant right here where all her clanmates could enjoy. If only she was better at making holes... she was sure at least two hunting patrols had come back since she started!

The Toyger sat in a shady corner of the camp. His short fur was fluffed up against the cold, though it helped little. Still, his half-moon ban from his mate's den was up, so maybe he should go try to snuggle her for warmth. Ooh, he could bring Fogkit too! There were other cats assigned to guard camp anyways, so it wasn't like he would be abandoning a duty assigned to him. Hmm... choices, choices.
The little kit has flopped down exhausted at Mossfreckle’s white tipped paws, this time his paws stayed firm to the chilled clearing earth - this kit could bite they pleased but he doubted they would now that they had gotten the attention they craved from the start. With a soft paw he nudged Wispkit up to a sitting position and curled his feathery tail loosely to support the kit if need be.
A little flutter of joy flickered in Mossfreckle’s heart as he spoke to the little kit in a soft purr, “Now that you have tired yourself out shall we get you back to the nursery or would you like to stay out here a bit longer,” he added with a teasingly serious tone, “as long as you keep those bitey teeth to yourself.” His feathery tail flicked in amusement as he rose to stretch his freckled oriental form into a mountain shape, white tipped paws flexed claws into the soil and his muscles loosened from the tension that had grow in his cautious haunches which had been ready to side step the kits nefarious maw. He then sat tall and turned to lick his smooth already clean pelt - each lick bringing the herby scent of the med den to his senses - and perked his oriental shaped ears in anticipation to the kits response.
Wispkit stuck his tongue out at the pesky Medicine cat. No he did not want to return to the nursery and such a question would not be tolerated. What was this little kit going to do about this? Not much. He crawled to be under Mossfreckle's tail so he could not be returned to the nursery. "Why should I go back there? I might as well sit out here and sleep under the fresh prey pile! There's no one in there to watch me and if there was? I would bite them as hard as I could. They deserve it!!" He proclaimed. His mother did not deserve his kindness when she couldn't even take the time to be around... At all! Then a little idea came to Wispkits head.
"Better idea. I sleep in your den and I'll promise not to bite you while you are sleeping." He said while not promising anything about being awake..
Alderblossom gave a grunt as Thistlefrost kicked her away.
The pretty tortoiseshell landed gracefully on all four paws.
''That's because you can't be and you know it!'' She shot back, amber eyes gleaming.
(i've asked elaif and Undertaker for perms to have Alderblossom send out patrols since Vulturefang hasn't sent them out since the fifth lol)

Thistlefrost paused in the middle of his pouncing, pretending to look offended. " Well, Ouch! " he scoffed. " Of course I can be trusted with mine! its not like im gonna lose them day one, anyway. " Thistlefrost couldn't help but giggle a bit. " Or maybe I would. "
