tigerfire entered the camp then stopping" why don't you go deposit the prey" he says to nightpaw then continuing on" creneglide! im back to report the our border is normal there is no trespassing as far as my scenting could go we found some squirrels and i had nightpaw hunt them she got one of them" he says boldly
@marni
Craneglide
Turning her head to observe the first cats back to report, she noticed Tigerfire come up. Odd, since Wolfsong had been made the patrol leader - but at least it got done! "Might fine, Tigerfire! Thank ya for yer swift reportin'" Lifting a paw to give a salute to the warrior, Craneglide dismissed him with a bobbing nod.

Heading back inside the camp, he dropped the two fish on the prey pile, then padded over to Craneglide.
“A fishy thing happened at Cattail Pond,” he joked. Cricketsting went on to describe about the pebbles that the fishes were nibbling on and told about him using this as a distraction to get more fish. “Anyways, the pebbles are likely gone by now and I scared away the fish, so no need to go back,” the cream warrior ended his reported. He quickly added, "Oh, and Littlepaw did a fine job at fishing."
Littlepaw half-pranced, half-dragged her feet when coming into the clearing. She held two fish in her jaws: one perch, and the other a random one. She felt very pleased with her catch, and after Cricketsting spoke his approval about what she caught she felt happier than she had in a long time.
"Craneglide!" she purred and dropped the fishes in front of the warrior then looked up to give the report. "Cricketsting and I caught a lot of fish! I caught these two, a perch and a random one, I don't quite know what it is... and Cricketsting caught two random fish along with a perch and chub!"
The she-cat looked as if she was about to burst with how much her tail tip was twitching, "We also saw these weird-looking pebbles floating in the water, two of Cricketsting's catches have a couple in their mouths so you could take a look and see what they are."
Craneglide
The next to come up was... Oh. This was the cat who had appeared annoyed. Which made Craneglide anxious, paws shuffling in the dirt beneath her. Something about a fish joke, and pebbles - though there wasn't much to go off of and a lot of information seemed to be missing. Apparently whatever the pebbles were, they were gone now. She would ask but... anxiety.
Her gaze shifted towards Littlepaw who also came up to report as well. There was quite a lot of prey caught. Oh - okay so the apprentice went into a little more detail on the pebbles. That sounded odd. She would definitely have to take a lot, and she was rather surprised that Cricketsting decided to glaze over that.
"Oh, uh, sure thing. Leave one of the fish here an' I'll take a look!" She motioned for one of the catches to be brought over to her and then nodded. "Other than that, you're both good to go!"
[ Since there was no actual dialogue by Cricketsting describing the pebbles, I didn't want to powerplay and put words in his mouth which is why Craneglide reacted how she did ]
Willowfeather padded back from her patrol, ready to tell
Craneglide what she knew. At least, what was useful.
She began speed walking to the fellow RiverClan cat,
and opened her jaws to speak.
“Craneglide!” She called, and stopped once she
was in earshot. “I have the patrol report! We- Foxpaw
and I, saw some goldenish coloured fur tufts. They
carried an odd scent, and Foxpaw says he may
have something to say for it.”
She flashed a look at her apprentice, and slowly turned
back to Craneglide.
“We suspected that there could have been a
fight, with rouges, or simply some RiverClan who
didn’t tell Skystar that they had decided to go into battle.”
She glanced at Foxpaw again, and muttered, “Or maybe… rouges have been invading, hm?”
Craneglide
After the first two patrols, the next was another hunting patrol. Willowfeather appeared to be walking pretty fast towards her, which made her heart beat a little faster. Well this whole situation seemed weird. Craneglide looked to Foxpaw and blinked. "Well, uh, alrighty then. Rogues invading seems... hmm. Hrmm... I will be sure to let Snowleap know once he's back from his journey. And, uh, if he wants to know more, I'm sure he'll be speakin' to Foxpaw." Craneglide wasn't equipped to deal with that, so instead she just gave an awkward farewell nod.
Flamesong's pace was quick as the lean feline made her way back to camp. Bluepaw had been a well-behaved little apprentice during her patrol, even if Stringpaw hadn't followed them. "Sno- er, Craneglide? Reporting back from the Windclan border, everything went smoothly! And Bluepaw did quite well for just being an apprentice, but sadly Stringpaw didn't show up."
Craneglide
Oh good! The last patrol to report said everything went smoothly, which meant that after this Craneglide (and her roleplayer) could go take a small rest. "Bummer about Stingpaw. Thank you for being vigilant an' markin' the border. You're dismissed!" It was good to hear about Bluepaw, she was certain Snowleap would be too.
And now that it was over, the overly anxious warrior could go lie down and try her best to remember to report all of this to Snowleap when he returned.
Herb patrols are due Thursday, August 18th at 11:59pm PST! If you need an extension, please let me know by Wednesday, August 17th! If you're unable to do the patrol, let me know by Wednesday, August 10th and I will find a replacement!
Fawnpaw
So she was nervous. Incredibly nervous, because what if the Clan didn't listen to her? She was, after all, still only eight moons. Still a "kid" as she recalled Bluebellcrackle calling her at one of the last meetings. But with a dwindling herb storage and her being only one cat, she would need help. And it wouldn't be too much either, perhaps just a pawful of cats who could gather up supplies on a quick run out and bring them back with no complications.
"Uh, excuse me!" she called, her voice a little shaky from where she stood near the base of the Streamstone. Swallowing once before continuing, "I am sort of low on herbs-" down to two cobwebs and two poppy seeds left low "-and, um, if I could have some help collecting a few I would really appreciate it!"
Now to pick cats out, right? She had watched Snakeheart send them out before, and he usually described the herb and sent off two patrols composed of about two or three cats. Fawnpaw would follow that method for now since it seemed to work for him!
"Ms. Featherflame?" She had been really nice to her and shared a meal with her upon first returning back from the territory expedition, so Fawnpaw smiled as she called her name. "Maybe you could go with Foampaw and Stormpaw? I need some cobwebs and poppy seeds - cobwebs are this white sticky stuff, and poppy seeds are in flowers that look really bright and colorful - there are some red ones over near the Sleepy Thicket I think!"
Okay so that was one part. The next was marigold... and Fawnpaw didn't know what it was for, but Snakeheart had wanted it collected so it had to have some sort of purpose. Recalling the description he had given, she smiled once more. "And M - Sassafrassfire?" She had heard cats calling the warrior "they" and "them", so Fawnpaw wasn't too sure what to put in front of her name (and she certainly didn't wish to offend the warrior!) so hopefully just her name would be fine, like it was with Beansprout. "If you could look with Cloudpaw and Littlepaw for marigold? I think its these bright yellow flowers with really thin petals. Maybe it would be growing by the river side? I think I've seen some yellow flowers over there!"
She... had done it. Despite the rising boil of anxiety Fawnpaw felt okay with the selection of cats she had chosen. She knew really only Foampaw, Featherflame, and Littlepaw, but hopefully in her new position she would get to know the rest. Oh! "A-And thank you so much for helping! I really appreciate it!"
[ Once your patrol is done, be sure to make a post in the medicine cat herb storage (linked in my signature) with the correct format and link to the herb collecting post so that I can update the stores! You can have your cat report back here to Fawnpaw to let her know what all was collected before doing so ]

Littlepaw excitedly went to the base of the Streamstone as soon as Fawnpaw appeared to start organizing herb patrols. Oh, she's low? Wow... Snakeheart and Reedpaw didn't think to really stock up herbs before they went missing, did they? Littlepaw sighed and listened as the medicine cat... apprentice(?) called her name along with Sassafrassfire and Cloudpaw to go on a marigold patrol. This would be her first herb patrol, so it was definitely something new, something different than the regular hunting patrol at Cattail Pond. Littlepaw would never forget her first patrol, it was where she learned to hunt, taught by Vinewatcher.
"We're on it! Come on, Cloudpaw!" she purred and looked at Sassafrassfire, although she didn't like being around her Clanmates much. She would do it for her Clan. "Come on, Sassafrassfire!"
Looking back at Fawnpaw, she replied, "It's not a problem, Fawnpaw!"

With a massive yawn the creamy off-white cat rises to their paws to approach the three apprentices. The lilac point looks at Fawnpaw as she speaks and flicks their tail. "Yeah," they say in a rather blasé tone, sapphire optics sweeping over to meet the gaze of Littlepaw. Rambunctious, loud, bossy. She reminded them of their former apprentice, before they'd left so long ago. They hadn't seen her around in a while.
No one spoke about her, either. Was she on a trip somewhere far off now, too?
"Let's go," the warrior rumbles, their voice sounding like coarse sand in their throat. It always had been. "We can probably get plenty in short time. It likes to grow around here."

➣ Hearing the familiar voice of Fawnpaw, the fluffy black-and-white apprentice’s short ears perked up as her interest was immediately peaked by the recently-made medicine cat’s announcement. Herb patrols. Of course. Cloudpaw remembered when Snakeheart had her go on one of those awhile back, along with her old mentor, Blizzardsky, and another warrior named Brindlefeather. It had been at Lionsbeach. However, from what the young brown-furred molly was saying, her task was not cobwebs, but marigold this time around. Okay. She could work with that. Bright yellow flowers with really thin petals. By the riverside? That was simple enough. Before Cloudpaw could even say anything, her patrolmates were already present. That was a good thing though. Of course.
Littlepaw and Sassafrassfire. The RiverClan apprentice remembered the other young molly from when they once had shared stupid puns with Cricketsting on that rainy day awhile back. However, Cloudpaw wasn’t too familiar with the warrior. She glanced at Fawnpaw one last time before heading over to the two clanmates, dipping her head in silent acknowledgement. “I agree.” The black-and-white molly responded, blinking at creamy off-white feline for a moment, “Lead the way.” They were the adult, after all, so it seemed only right, yeah? Gotta know your place.
"Of course Little Fawn! We will trek high and low to find your webs and seeds!" She returned Fawnpaw's smile twice as bright, glad that the medicine cat would trust her with such an important task. I wonder what perils we will run into on our journey? Will we fight off venomous snakes? Perhaps duel with coyotes? Featherflame hadn't forgotten her promise to bring home a bear pelt to keep the little one warm.
However, her patrol mates were definitely not fighters. Once orange eyes landed on a teeny tiny calico and the less tiny molly she knew bear fighting was out of the question. For now. Oh well, at least the journey would still be perilous... right?
"Alright young ones." Once everyone was gathered up, Featherflame stood before them with a confident air. Her fluffy tail stood straight up behind her like a tree trunk. "Little Fawn has asked us to journey to the Sleepy thicket. We set out at once! With a final flashy smile towards Fawnpaw, the patrol leader set out. Not once did she look behind her to see if the two apprentice's followed.
Stormpaw pricked her ears as she hard Fawnpaw's voice. The medicine cat would send out herb patrols? She decided to stick around in case she was picked for one. And yep, she heard her name! Her amber eye darted around as she tried to locate her patrolmates. Featherflame and Foampaw? She soon spotted Featherflame, and quickly joined the warrior in the place where she was standing. "Okay," she mewed as Featherflame said they'd be leaving camp for the patrol at once. Stormpaw was certainly ready.
Truth be told, he had been doing nothing more than existing. Watching bugs, and attempting to catch said bugs, before he was summoned. Of course he would answer a summon, so, he let the ladybug be free. Although he'd be back to imprison them for their crimes. Seeing as how it was unfair the beetle got jail time yet the elusive lady bug did not. He would have his revenge.
Taking the loss, the Apprentice shot up, and hopped towards the pair, before remembering his manners. After that, basically tripping over his own paws, the Calico finally met up with the other pair, big smile stretched across his face.
"Yes. Let's go!" he chirped.

Life is full of detours, and roundabout paths
Live as you wish, go ahead and live.
Life, before you realize it, is like an arrow
Let's set off the fireworks of our lives.
Patrols are due August 25th. If you need to be replaced, let me know before August 17th. If you need an extension, let me know before August 23rd. Patrols that are not reported in are subject to punishment from Pikestar or Slatewhisker.
[I apologize in advance of how low on creativity this is. I had already written and picked out everyone before and had it ready to post on Monday but it erased what I had and I was already low on creativity and couldn't remember who I had picked out previously. I also apologize if some of you guys were on a previous Riverclan patrol. I decided to send it out today because I'll most likely be busy tomorrow and Monday.]
~Slatewhisker~
Slatewhisker padded out of the warriors den, stretching her body and patting down her fur. It always stood up in the morning. Speaking of morning, she looked up at the sky and let out a happy and nervous sigh. Today was the first day that she would be sending out patrols. What a responsibility. She padded over to the base of the Streamstone and looked around the clearing before she spoke. "Listen up everybody! Patrols are heading out so pay attention in case your name is called!" She made sure that she wasn't yelling but loud enough so that everyone could hear her.
[optional prompt: you hear a lot of noise near the border, almost like there's a family of squirrels nearby] "Wormbite [ @x ghostie]! Take Vinewatcher [ @Clock Dragonshifter] and Specklepaw [ @l3o.artz] to patrol the Thunderclan border." She paused for a moment before continuing.
[optional prompt: even though it's green leaf, there seems to be some mud near the border. While it doesn't suck at your paws, it's slippery] "Stagfrost [ @Spotty]! You will be taking Shelltuft [ @seeingstars] and Flickerpaw [ @xath] to patrol the Shadowclan border." She meowed, flicking her tail in thought.
[optional prompt: there's a breeze near the border, but it's a warm breeze, almost on the edge of being uncomfortable hot air] "Killstone [ @H4WKKN1GHT]! Go ahead and take Rainfall [ @Fenixwolf] and Nightpaw [ @Ravenss] to patrol the Windclan border." There, done with the border patrols. Now onto the hunting patrols.
[optional prompt: during leaf bare this is a nice place to hang out, in green leaf not so much. You can feel the heat radiating from the water and it makes you uncomfortable. You would be sweating pools if you were human] "Toadnose [ @WillowBlows12]! Take Frozenpaw [ @GoldenDays] and look for some prey over at Haven Springs." She let out a sigh. She was kind of running low on who to send. She didn't want to send out some cats back to back. She was silent for a moment before deciding on sending out the last patrol.
[optional prompt: even if you're not superstitious, you hear a lot of noises that put you on edge the whole time. If you were to investigate, you would find that it's just the breeze moving debris from the ground] "Softecho [ @Raven~]! Take Birdpaw [ @poppy.] to look for some prey in Sleepy Thicket." She had some doubts about this, considering the new graves were still recent, but nobody had been sent there in quite a while and there was a chance that they would find some prey there.
She looked around the clearing again, remembering suddenly something else she had to say. "Don't forget to report back to me on anything you find." She meowed before heading back towards the warriors den.

As the cat heard the deputys call for patrols, So Haven Springs? they thought.
Toadnose walked over, their ears on alert for their patrolmate{s}. Frozenpaw. Their mind flickered with their thoughts, Toadnose atleast would get a chance to interact with their clanmates. Right?
