Smokewatcher meets Bitterheart one day and she falls in love. This is very surprising and new to her, she's never loved any cat. She confesses to her on a patrol and Bitter rants for 15 minutes. Bitterheart finds
Tom and deserts Smoke. Bitter and
Tom eventually become mates, leaving Smokewatcher heartbroken.
TC Tom likes Smokewatcher, but her heart lies with Bitterheart. He confesses to her, but she ignores him. Meanwhile, Thornclaw is asking Smokewatcher about her feelings. She gets very annoyed and tells him she likes Bitterheart. Eventually,
TC Tom, Bitterheart,
Tom, and Smokewatcher all become good friends.(But not thorn no one likes thorn
