Blackpaw jumped from tree to tree, looking for anything out of the ordinary.

"If you fall, it's not my faulllllt!"
Fennelhaze had agreed to take Blackpaw out into the territory. She'd heard a lot about the apprentice before, but had never interacted with him in her own right. It was exciting to have the opportunity, and Blackpaw already seemed like one to take risks. She could get behind that. Looking up at him from the ground, she once again meowed loudly, making sure she'd be heard. "Do you see anything from up there? Like... uh... food maybe? I don't think I remembered to eat." Quickly changing to a more non-serious tone, the she-cat contonued. "And unless there's some good food around here, you're the only other meal around!" She couldn't help but laugh at her own bad joke. What would a cat taste like? Fennelhaze sure didn't know, but she didn't intend on finding out. Maybe if she got too hungry though...

Blackpaw stopped on a branch and looked down. “I’ll be fine. If you want I’ll catch you something but then I’ve got to get back to this.” he said before leaping to the ground and trying to pick up the scent of anything but frog.

"Oh, really? What's so important that you've got to become a tree hugger? Are you moving to Thunderclan??" Fennelhaze laughed, though was somewhat confused as to why the apprentice seemed so keen on scouting from the trees. He did seem to come down at the mention of food, though. He'd catch her something? Wonderful. Maybe she could catch him something too.
"By any chance... what might your favourite kind of prey be? No reason to ask... I'm just... uh... curious! Yeahhhhh... definitely curious. No other reason. Nope!" Could she be more of an idiot? It was unknown, but this certainly seemed like the peak of it. Blackpaw would hopefully be getting a nice gift before he went back to his oh-so precious trees. It could be fun, even! There was a game to make out of this, somehow and someway, and Fennelhaze would just have to find out how. The she-cat rested her gaze on Blackpaw as he began scenting, tail eagerly flicking as she awaited to see what happened.

Blackpaw growled at the mention of ThunderClan. “Those fleabags, I’d rather join Starclan. I just don’t see why they should get all the fun. Plus I can see more from op there.” Blackpaw let the shecat Finnish her sentence even though he’d had quite enough of her for one day. “Frogs. I like frogs.” He tasted the air but still no dice.

Frogs. Fennelhaze knew how to catch those. This worked perfectly! Blackpaw's tone suggested he was a bit fed up, but the she-cat didn't much care, in fact, it amused her to know she was at least leaving an impact on this cat. "Alright... I'll... be right back then." She trotted off further into the territory, heading towards a spot that was familiar to her... the mud. She'd often gone here to mess around with Driftstep, but now it was time to impress this apprentice or fail trying.
Fennelhaze had continued to look around the area, spotting many places where frogs could be hiding. Soon after, she opened her mouth to better scent the area, picking up many frog scents, confirming her earlier suspicions. It's catching time. Quickly jumping into the mud, she'd already made a mess of her pelt, but quickly found a few frogs camouflaged among the mud. A few escaped, but Fennelhaze soon caught one, then another, then a third. Wow! She'd never been this lucky before, the rain from the previous day must've helped her chances. Even then, she still hated rain. Tossing her prized catches to the sturdier ground, she quickly jumped out and carried all at once back to where she had last seen Blackpaw, now covered in mud. She thought this could be a bit more interesting though... so she quickly dove into a bush, frogs at the ready, for when Blackpaw came through this part of the territory. It would be a wonderful surprise! Free food and laughs, though at the risk of being clawed up. She was willing to take that risk for the fun though.

Blackpaw finally got tired of waiting for the strange cat and went on his merry way. Someone is nearby. How would you know.
