Princess's safe place

A light ginger tabby queen sat in the shelter of a den, keeping safe. She wanted to be on the move, but her kits were holding her back. Why was she expecting kits? It wasn't something she wanted to do. Well at least not alone. These kits would remind her of him. She didn't need that. Princess let out a growl of discomfort at her own thoughts. The expecting queen was laid out on her side and was staring out of her den.

Princess heard the birds chirping and she began to think about food. That was when she decided to get up and get herself something to eat. She padded out of the den. She wasn't quite so big as she had been expecting for at least a week. It was a while before they were here. Princess may dislike them, but they were her's so of course she would keep them for now at least. Or perhaps she'll send them off to somebody else.

She smirked at that thought. It was perfect. Princess didn't mind going through the process of birth. She wanted her kits to see the world, but without her. The queen scented the air catching the scent of a mouse. She got into a nice hunters crouch and stalked forward. Once she got closer she pounced and killed it with a swift bite to the neck.

Remi dragged himself through the woods. Dagger was being particularly annoying today. And the twolegs forgot to fill the food bowls. The best thing he could do was hunt. Ugh, he hated working. He just wanted to take a nap. Suddenly, the scent of cat hit his nose. Creeping around, he spotted a she cat eating a mouse. He decided she might be helpful.
"Hi. Did you happen to come across any good hunting spots.? I really don't feel like locating them." he grumbled as he approached. He noticed the cat was a queen. Hopefully, there was enough prey. He didn't wanna take food from a territory of a pregnant cat.
