Swimming with the Fishies [open to all apps/warriors!]

[ Participating in this roleplay will count for the apprentice swimming
requirement AND a hunting requirement!
This is based after the Clan meeting, so the apprentices
who became warriors shouldn't attend as an apprentice. ]

RiverClan Announcement [#liontalks]

"Apprentices, follow me!"

Lionstar's voice was a bellow as he passed through the clearing, waving his tail as an indicator of where he was. "I'm going to be doing a mass fishing and swimming lesson for you all today. If you already know how to do it; great-- you can still join in to get more experience and you can help your den-mates learn too. Otherwise, this is a good opportunity for you to get some of your training requirements in."

Lionstar paused at the camp entrance, in an afterthought. "Oh, and any warriors or mentors who want to tag along are free to. We'll be starting at Cattail Pond for swimming, and if all goes well, I'll be splitting groups up for fishing lessons at the pond and river." Worst case scenario, he'd make Thistlestep oversee a group.

Outside of camp, Lionstar headed directly to Cattail Pond, pausing by the bank. "Once everyone who's coming has gathered, we'll begin!" He'd probably get too impatient to wait and move on without others.. no biggy.

In a blink of an eye Willowpaw appeared from seemingly nowhere skidding to a halt right in front of the leader. OOOOOOOOOH This was perfect! Willowpaw knew she needed more training and this would be great and there was so many cats that were sure to come there was no way for her to get ignored! Her face was split in a giant grin and she plopped down to sit and wait for everyone with a thud. She just wished her clanmates were faster like her as she impatiently fidgeted in place.

Ivorypaw padded forward excited to join in this. Once she did this, all she’d need is a final assessment and she’d be a warrior she couldn’t wait.

The small brown tabby tom padded towards Lionstar as he called for apprentices. He walked behind him and then stopped whenever he stopped. This sure would be fun. Tinypaw searched around for his mentor, hoping he'd tag along.

---Skunkpaw---

Skunkpaw looked at Lionstar as he told them they were going to learn how to swim. She wasn't too thrilled about that since she really didn't like water. It made her feel weird.

~Splashfury~

Splashfury hopped that she hadn’t pushed the apprentices too far yesterday so they could do the activity. She was glad that Lionstar already knew what they were doing so they weren’t trashy leaders like Duskstar and Icestar. She hadn’t heard anything about Duskstar which was surprising because she thought that cats would have trash on them but it’s been pretty silent for a few moons now. It was suspicious yet something she didn’t care about.

The molly went to make sure that her apprentices were there so that they could gain some experience. She smiled at the thought of the kiddos growing up so fast like in a blink of an eye. Something she was proud of Riverclan since Riverclan was definitely the best. They could alternate between seafood or land food so if one part had problems then they always had a solution.

“Podpaw! Frostpaw!” she mewed as she went to make sure that they were actually there not her pretending they were there but weren’t. It would be a shame if they skipped their first lesson on hunting. She wasn’t sure if they could swim or not yet but Splashfury knew that today was one of the days to get to know her apprentices better.

Silentpaw scrambled over to the leader after a few moment of the meeting was over. How long ago was the meeting? He completely forgot. Silentpaw didn’t want to say how he wanted to be a warrior faster so he silently joined the group while looking at everyone else. He felt slightly behind but it wasn’t a competition to see who could take their warrior assessment was it?

Amberpaw quickly jumped at the chance to join. She hadn't met her mentor yet, so maybe she would here? She already knew how to swim, but not how to fish, so this would still be helpful!

Lizardpaw nodded and joined the group. She was still deeply upset about her old mentor's death, but she needed to learn. He'd told her they'd be learning together. Now only she would learn. She had to, for him and for herself.

Wavepaw would bound up to him. She would sit down and look at him lashing her tail. I can’t wait to show you what Shimmeringpool taught me, before you switched my mentors. she mumbled the last part. @BILL.

Wolfpaw heard the announcement and bounded towards the leader, he already knew how to swim but this could improve his swimming and teach him how to fish better. He could also help the others!
