Snapdragons Grove // Open!

Snapdragon was silent as she lay on the fence surrounding the abandoned house, her black fur making her look like she was part of the shadows. Piercing yellow eyes gleamed out of the void of black, staring into anything that revealed itself to her. The large she-cat was completely still outside of the occasional head movement or tail wave. A gentle breeze blew through the semi-wooded area, causing the weaker tree branches and plants to lights sway, the slightest smell of maple drifting through the air. The chirping of crickets and frogs were the only things that broke the silence, a peaceful symphony rising from the ground where they hid.

Spire walking into this area sure of their step, although they didn’t recognize this terrain. It was pretty here, though. Calm. Refreshing. Spire could probably waste a lot of time here if they had nothing to do, but they had a something to do — they were on the search for a friend. Just one. If any more came along Spire wouldn’t complain, but they’d just been feeling lonely these past moons and wanted someone to butt around with. A buddy to kick it back with. A lifetime companion, with lifetime being a loose word. You get the idea.

They hadn’t been able to find good friend material yet - or anyone, really… - but they were optimistic when they smelled the scent of a cat somewhere around. With the slight breeze, it could be from anywhere, as far as Spire knew, but instead of searching Spire decided to just talk into the open air and see if the air or a cat would answer back. “Hellooo? Anyone here?”
