The dark tom heard his mate's familiar voice, but she sounded as if she was in pain. He took off running in the direction of her voice. Then, he caught a wiff of her scent, and maybe it to her side, stopping in aw of the little bundles of fur beside her. "Their lovely." Chickadee proudly purred.
The little she-kit squirmed where she was and she sniffed the air. Was that the scent of...milk? Boy, was she hungry! She followed the scent of milk and found herself pressed to something soft and warm. She started feeding on the milk, getting a bit sleepy.
She whimpered, not bothering to move because she WAS COLD! What a welcome into the world, cold wet and- oh. She smelled foooood!

Poseidon pushed his strong little body, that was quite large for a newborn, through to the source of milk. The blueish gray tom was the first-born kit and was the largest, and proud to be.

Posideon while pushing through his siblings to nurse, noticed his brothers deformity. He pressed closer to Hawkkit, silently vowing in his mind to always protect his brother. Little did he know, they would soon be separated...
