Riverclan's Ugly Goslings

[ This is swimming training open to all RiverClan kits as well as anyone who are still lacking swimming training. This counts as the swimming training requirement for all participants, even kits.]

"Anyone who actually wants to do something with themselves today gather up! Its time for a basic swimming lesson so those of us that havent gotten their fur wet can join the rest of us in being proper riverclan cats. So anyone who doesnt know how to swim get over here will fix that. That includes kittens, were going to be going somewhere safe in force so I feel comfortable taking you along. So yeah furballs, feel free to gather up you get the chance to see out of the camp for once before you become apprentices.

Besides that Ill need a few warrior volunteers with swimming experience to mind a couple groups. If you volunteer and dont do anything or are irresponsible with the cats I assign you though I will shred your pelt, there will be no drowning incidents here. Seriously I wont choose poor examples and if I do choose you and you act poorly there will be consequences. Still besides volunteers if theres any queens or anyone who wants to tag along to watch feel free as long as you dont get in the way.

Snakeheart had gotten the idea for this with how much he actually enjoyed teaching his little brother to swim and while he doubted this would be as enjoyable (none of the other fuzzballs were as tolerable as his kin) it still might be beneficial. Swimming was in their blood after all and right now was the best time to fish and enjoy the water, with this out of the way mentors could move straight on to teaching the apprentices to bring home trout. Mmmmm trout.

Dogheart glanced up and rushed over to offer. "I'd be down to help with the swimming, Snakeheart!" he called. Dogheart ... had to admit, he was pretty good when it came to water and swimming, using it to his advantage if there were attacks. He waited patiently for a responses, standing there, shuffling his paws.

"Ill help the kits learn thier swimming to!" said Riverstripe. Riverstripe remembered her own first time swimming night was not the right time to do this one the kits should be in ther nests but it was exiting all the same. She sat down and waited for the event to begin. @Rani

Excitement tingled in their paws at Snakehearts call. The prospect of helping to train Riverclans youth and always made them a bit more happy, especially since it meant being able to be around cats of most ages. Stepping forward, they had shaken their silvery pelt out before grinning a bit towards Snakeheart “I’d be happy to help, Snakeheart!” confidence. Their confidence had grown since meeting Blizzardwind.
Even with the fear dwelling inside of them that Snakeheart may think soemthing Dawnwhisper is doing isn’t satisfactory and get their pelt shredded, Dawnwhisper was ready to take that chance. Even with their thicker pelt the water had always felt amazing lapping at their back, especially when it cooled off.

She hadn’t gotten too much training done, soemthing she didn’t blame Hawthornmist for. She could wait, patiently, as much as she had to. She wanted to keep her mentor, he was kind to her and didn’t seem to mind her louder nature too much. But at the offer Snakeheart had made, about getting a swimming lesson, Reedpaw had popped up.
Bouncing over to the medicine cat and the cats gathering, excitement shimmered in her gaze as Reedpaw seemed hardly able to stop the bouncing. Creamy colored fur rose and fell each time she lifted up into the air before landing back down. Even if she hadn’t done swimming yet, she’d still be the best here! ..Right?

Wormbite's ears perked up at the sound of ah, Snakeheart. A quiet sigh escaped from the oriental, rising to his paws. It felt as if time wasn't moving -- that he was stuck in place. Wormbite was desperate to escape this cell of his. "I can help, " He meowed, approaching the medicine cat. Besides, how hard could it be to handle... the,,, very,, evil,, furballs,,,..
.. he could only hope he would get assigned apprentices,,..

Rainkit marched over with her skinny black tail stuck straight up. The tiny molly had never swam, but was excited at the prospect of learning something new, anything to get her closer to being a warrior. Her heart bounced with excitement, finally she had a chance to see outside the camp! The ebony she-kit's tail tip twitched with anticipation, trying hard to stand still while awaiting further instructions. She was determined to be one of the best swimmers, at least out of the other kits.

The tabby popped his head up from where he was currently nestled, in mud of course, and began to romp towards the growing group. In all his muddy glory the Warrior showed up with a soft smile on his face and determination flickering in his eyes. Seeing one specific kit looking so excited boosting his mood even more.

"I'll help out where needed Snakeheart." he chirped, tail flicking behind him.
