I've neglected Rootgaze in my spotty activity the past handful of weeks, something I regret because I love rping her and she deserves tons of chances to be a girl boss. Because of this she has gone missing, returned, then gone missing again. This is against her usual personality but she's been feeling off the past few moons. This plot is basically to get her back on track with her usual personality.

Basically in the raid of ThunderClan's camp Rootgaze agreed to use poisoned claws because of her personal ideologies and killed a cat, it was the first time she'd ever killed anyone and the particularly cruel way didn't make it any more pleasant. She froze up and didn't help anymore in the raid. She believes she did the right thing but is still haunted by the scene of the cat's death and holds a sense of guilt for her clanmates deaths in the raid even if she wasn't directly responsible. It also completely rocked her world when Kes called his decisions a mistake afterwards, again, because of her personal ideologies.

Her first disappearance was brief and she returned when Kes was gone with very little to say, she skipped clan meetings during her brief return and recently wandered off once again. She has been running on little sleep and is in somewhat of a daze, being unable to really face Kes since the raid, thus why she'd skipped clan meetings.

Now she is in the outskirts feeling totally out of it and this plot is to have her interact with an outsider and snap back to herself. Not completely fixing her mental state but giving her the push to realize she's acting erratically. Basically, Rootgaze and [loner] will encounter each other and get into a short fight, Root probably wandering into the loner's territory mistakenly. [Loner] will realize that she is a clan cat and inquire why she is so far from the territories and the two will have a tense conversation. I want this conversation to remind Rootgaze that this isn't like her and she has abandoned basically her entire life by just walking away from the clan. She hadn't planned on leaving permanently in the first place but now she'll come to realize how selfish her actions have been in her disappearing. RiverClan needs her and she needs to be with RiverClan to really live her life.

After this she'll basically tell herself to "suck it up" and go back to apologize to Kes for leaving and try to act like her normal self in RiverClan, once again resuming her life how she'd left it.

Throw out your loners that could help Rootgaze evaluate her actions and maybe briefly listen to her worries.

I can offer up Echo for you! She is blunt and fairly rude, and will definitely be ready to fight a clan cat, and then proceed to ask overly personal questions. She is a blind kitty, but a skilled fighter, and was born blind so her navigation and orientation are pretty good.
