Webpaw is getting better
[OPEN- for someone who'll help her learn to ignore the voice in her head]
Webpaw was sitting in an alley, she was gnawing on a rat talking to what appeared to be herself, but in her mind, she saw Frostpaw, the psychopathic former Thunderclan medicine cat that was trying to take over her body and have her revenge on Thunderclan. Webpaw refused to do that, so instead they lived in a dirty alley eating rats and twoleg scraps. She was a mangy looking rogue. Her pelt was matted and dark black in soot from the ground. She had long forgotten about any self-maintence she was unsure of who she was anymore. Sometimes she was in control and sometimes Frostpaw was in control. At this point she couldn't remember which one she originally was. She was one and the same with Frostpaw, but she wanted to be free from that awful cat," Knock it off Frostpaw. I'm never killing a cat. I'm not like you! Do it Webpaw, do it Webpaw. We'll start off easy, just kill a kit...once you learn to kill a kit, we can start on Thunderclan...No Frostpaw, you're an evil cat and deserver to rot in the Dark Forest, leave me alone. Let me have my life back, you crazy 'ol bag of fleas! Shut up! SHUT UP! Shut up! SHUT UP!!!!" she screamed, her voice changed slightly when she was talking as Frostpaw, it sounded more cunning, but when she was talking as Webpaw, she sounded broken and desperate.

Having come from the far sides of the earth, Triton grimaced as he walked through some disgusting twoleg's city. At least if he stayed along the smallest trails, he could avoid the majority of the twolegs and their hideous flashing lights.
He jumped onto the rails of some building, speeding from an opener space into yet another alleyway, then froze as the stench of rats and bone assaulted his nose. His fur bristled and he turned to leave, only for a barrage of 'Shut up!'s to blast through his ears.
Did someone need... help?
Against his better conscience, Triton braced himself and crept forward until he spied a younger looking feline with the dirtiest fur in existence. He didn't see anyone else she could've been speaking to, however.
His pelt continued to prickle, warning him of dangers, but how could he leave a maiden in harm's way? Ugh, stupid pride. For his own safety, Triton didn't leave the railing, watching the other cat from above.
"Excuse me. Do you need help?" he offered.

Webpaw looked up at the tom above her," Nothing you can help with. Just a voice in my head, always bossing me around-" she cut herself off to listen to the voice in her head. Kill him Webpaw, it'll prepare you to wipe out Thunderclan whispered Frostpaw in her head, she gave a growl trying to force herself not to speak aloud to Frostpaw with another cat around. Unfortunately Frostpaw listened better when she spoke aloud and not in her head to her.

Well, great. Since there was nothing for him to assist with, he might as well leave. He really should leave; the alleyways never failed to creep him out. Besides, bossy voices weren't anything particularly dangerous, not usually. In fact, they were usually pretty useful when one needed to grow a stronger backbone.
But still...
"If it's saying something you're not comfortable with, you could always try to ignore it. Or override it. Pain tends to work well—" brilliant advice there, Triton; promoting self-harm, "—or powerful emotion. Powerful emotion works too, though for best results, it should directly oppose whatever you're thinking of."
The pine-furred tabby eyed the other cat below. If she had nothing else to say, then leaving was looking rather enticing. If only he could will his paws to walk away.

Webpaw paused thinking about it, seeing if she could ignore Frostpaw's screeching demands in her ear, she sort of could ignore it, but it made it harder for her to hear anything else," I sort of can. But when I do, the voice likes to get louder and will just screech at me to listen to her." she wasn't quite ready to admit she had a crazy dead clan cat in her head. She strained her ears some in order to hear the tom over the screeching of Frostpaw, it was easier to listen to the loudest voice when two voices were speaking, but she was forcing herself to try to hear just the quieter voice.

To her, the she-cat said. So this wasn't one of those encouraging, friendly voices; it was one of those snarling, dominant ones — the dangerous ones. They were, understandably, more difficult to work with; roaring and reckless, saturated with possibilities that mostly pointed toward corruption.
"If I speak louder," Triton tried, gradually raising the volume of his voice, "does it help? You can yell over Her aloud; I won't mind."
Technically, he did mind; he valued his hearing, but here, the benefits outweighed the cost. Besides, it wasn't as if he'd never heard loud noises before. A certain tom that Triton knew often disregarded his father's quarry for silence.

Webpaw blinked, she could hear the tom better now that he spoke louder. She did know how to speak at a normal volume, but speaking louder might allow her to block out the noise more," Yes. It's easier to hear you." she meowed, only speaking a bit too loud as she didn't want to annoy the tom. She forced herself to focus on the tom and tried to block out Frostpaw, though a few words slipped through, words like murder and kill and hate.

The tomcat smiled despite the internal prickling of his pelt. "That's good." For all his senses were screaming about unnatural dangers, he was truly happy to help. Enough of his acquaintances suffered from voices — not this sort of vicious kind, mind you, but vicious nonetheless — that Triton knew how and wanted to assist.
"I apologize if I speak out of turn; you need not reply... but what is it that she asks of you?" Frankly, he's heard of voices demanding murder, demanding guilt, demanding power... Guardians, he's had a voice himself whispering of weakness. It was immeasurably unnerving to have a section of his mind degrading him nonstop, and he thanked his family to the stars and back for quieting it until it was just a speck buried far, far down; far enough that it only dared yell on the darkest of days.

Webpaw focused on the cat in front of her, pushing Frostpaw's voice to the back of her mind, frankly she didn't mind the question. She owed it to this cat who was helping her ignore Frostpaw," This voice is telling me to find this group of cats called Thunderclan and kill everyone there. The voice I believe is the voice of a cat who died their and for some reason has decided to speak to me and wants me to carry out what she didn't get to do. But I'm not a killer." she meowed unsure of how the cat would respond to this.

I'm not a killer...
The feline's words settled in his mind, digging roots into the seams of his conscience like the invasive fluff of a dandelion seed. Triton froze, and it wasn't discrete. Guardians, was anyone a killer, really? Deep down beneath their kill or be killed mentality, their mantra of only the strongest survive, did anyone live to kill? Blood on his paws made him sick long ago, but now... it got easier. It didn't get easier.
"Don't listen to Her," Triton commanded, blinking quick. There were no tears, and there wouldn't have been, and yet —
Oh, brilliant advice there, Triton, the tomcat thought sarcastically as his actions caught up to him. As if the molly weren't trying to do that already. Ugh, blasted stars, apparently he couldn't think straight today. The alleyway, no doubt.
"You were from ThunderClan," the tabby assumed. No, that didn't seem right. "You're not from ThunderClan?" he corrected. Triton scrutinized the other feline. But if not, then, "Why did She choose you?"
The loner paused. He was overwhelming himself with all these questions, and possibly the other cat, too. "I don't know your name," he realized. "I'm Triton. Stranger, do you have a place to stay?" That didn't mean this wretched enclave; judging from the molly's bedraggled appearance, this hadn't been her first choice of home either.
