–Bitter is convinced his mother never saw anything much of him, from birth to when she never spoke to him again after his Apprenticeship. He always wanted to have his mother there for him when he made accomplishments, but the constant begging and pleading was irritating and,quite frankly, slowly making Bone think her son would never amount to anything without him being watched over, so when he was made an Apprentice she made it her duty until death to not speak to him or even look at him, thinking he'd learn on his own that he had to do things on his own. This backfired completely, leaving the majority of Bitter's bitterness and cold nature to be born from him mimicking his mother's behavior.

–Bitter knows little to nothing about his father, since he had died before he was born, but all he knows about him is that Bone hated him, even before he died, insulting his name under her breath thinking Bitter wouldn't overhear, or simply hissing and threatening to attack Bitter when he asked as a Kit who his father was, or anything relating to him. Bitter, for no apparent reason in his own mind, hates his father as well.

–Bitter falls in love very easily, since he didn't get to experience a mother's, or father's, love. He knows what he likes and what he doesn't in a mate, but when he does crush on a cat they'll have to deal with him and his difficulty managing his feelings, either with expressing his love or keeping his feelings to himself. StarClan have mercy on their poor soul.

–His fur is long and often fluffed up, making him always look larger than he already is. It only lays flat when he grooms himself, but it doesn't lay for long. His eyes are a striking amber, although such an icy gaze is hard to see with his resting face being so exhausted. His tail is prickly and looks stiff when it is off the ground, to the touch it is well-kept, though.
