*evil laughter intensifies*
Basically, this is going to be a cult based on a vision [cat 1] had. this vision was of a Starclan cat appearing before them in a dream, telling them to worship Starclan and gather a following. However, this was not a Starclan cat, but a Dark Forest warrior seeking to cause a revolution.
[1] begins to tell people in their clan that they trust about the vision, gaining a small group of skeptical cats. Eventually, the cats who have been told about this receive their own visions from the same ethereal cat. This results in small meetings where the believers gather to pray and worship those in Starclan. As the faith grows bigger, reaching to those outside of the clan, the 'Starclan' cats begin to make their demands...
