she sighed, crossing her legs as she sat against a tree. she picked up a small book, it looked about three hundred pages long, and opened it to the almost halfway point. her eyes scanned over the words, trying to distract herself. she had been a ghost for days, but she was now in plain visibility, which she hadn't noticed. she had gone insane before death, yes. but... it was thanks to... him. he was the reason! she clenched her jaw, her eyebrows lowering, and her hands clenching tighter on the book. she did not enjoy this, at all. life... life was ok, and death was better! i mean, lots of people came to her funeral, even if they never noticed her alive.

Lilith crept through the meadow, red eyes blazing in the darkness. Her hands traveled over her black cloak, and she did her best to hide her fangs... The fangs of a vampire. She had learnt over time to control her thirst for blood, but yet, here she was, on the hunt for her worst enemy. Someone made purely of flesh and blood. Like a shadow she continued her walk, until she picked up someone’s scent. Curious, Lilith approached the stranger, letting her eyes turn blue. For years now she’d kept her secret. “Hello,” she said, twirling a strand of brown hair that poked out from under her hood. “May I ask- what are you doing here?” Her tone was calm, filled with genuine interest.

the girl was deep in the book at a voice, at which she looked up. "hello." she said, her eyes making out the figure beneath the cloak. she stood up, sighing. "relaxing? does no one ever do that these days?" and then it sank in. "wait- how can you see you me?"

Oh... so she wasn’t supposed to see this person... creature? Lilith raised her eyebrows, not replying to the first words the stranger spoke. “Am I not supposed to?” she asked, keeping her tone tranquil. “Well, dear, I’m afraid I can’t tell you... shame.” A haunted smile fought its way onto her mouth. “I should introduce myself. I’m Lilith, and you?” She was probably scaring this person, but if there was one thing she was good at, it was being weird and creepy.

"it's harriet, and no, not really. i'm sorta... dead?" she said, tilting her head slightly, before proving it by lifting her head off of her body. this... person? was interesting. and harriet found interest in her. "but, please, call me hattie."
