Opinions on bramblestar x squirrelflight?
(these are just my opinions)
Wondering if other people feel the same way on the brambleflight ship.
Personally, I don't like it. Some people would say their relationship started good then went downhill but I think it always wouldn't work. Let's start with before they're even dating, back way in the early new prophecy days, even when squirrelflight is an apprentice, they clearly didn't get along. Constantly arguing, but then squirrelflight became a warrior and brambleclaw was an older warrior than before, so they matured and then got along right? Well yes, but their arguments still happened, expect they're arguing about more argument worthy things.and this is when, now bramblestar goes from having a lot of pride to being straight up toxic. Everytime squirrelflight disagrees with him he flips it into an argue and then tries to be the dominant one. He always tries to put himself above squirrelflight every time he gets, but when he disagrees with her he guilts for arguing with her like he did. He's been doing that to her since before she was even a warrior (but he had much more of a reason to disagree with her then than he does when they become mates)

Agreed... I kind of wish that even though yes there is a lot of drama in those books already it would have been super dramatic if Bramble left Squirrel for Jesse. I think Bramble totally deserves better than an overprotective liar, and Squirrel deserves better than Bramble period. She should be able to be with someone who doesn't talk down to her and who isn't as persistent to win an argument that never had to happen.

Honestly, I wish squirrel picked ashfur in the beginning. in the new prophecy, AshSquirrel seemed fine- Too bad they threw that away and made ash a psychopath
