I have kind of a long con plot for my Riverclan OC
Doeheart. I do quite adore her and the poor girl hasn't gotten a break since her nephew was killed by rogues while she was pregnant. She grew up as the oldest of a large family. She's family oriented and loves the large family but she's also sure of herself (at least she
was) and won't settle for just any tom to give her that large family.
She fell in love for the first time later in life but, unfortunately, it was a Thunderclanner who had deceived her. Soon after she told him she was pregnant, Sleethound disappeared and she learned he'd been exiled from Thunderclan for attempting to murder an apprentice. Since then, she's attempted to forget him and focus on raising their kits. Starclan had other plans when, days before her own kitting, she stumbled upon a dead loner queen with five newborn kits. Without hesitating, she took in the five sickly newborns and blended them among her own four healthy kits. Other than contending with the loss of her beloved nephew and the heartbreak of learning the truth of Sleethound, Doeheart was happy. Until day by day, her adopted kits were proving to be battling with lifelong illness and, one by one, each of her kits died or went missing. With two kits (soon to be three), confirmed dead and five inexplicably missing, Doeheart is hanging on only for the sake of her dear Elkkit.
Let's give her something to look forward to again...

Doeheart is currently still in the nursery but her kits are nearly ready for their apprentice ceremony. I plan to develop their relationship until Elkkit makes it to his apprentice ceremony and then Doeheart's dream comes true: She has a loving, acceptable mate in her clan, her last remaining kit is an apprentice, and now she's ready to grow her family again. Finding out she's pregnant is nothing short of joyous for the family-oriented queen and she refuses to let herself be apprehensive after her disastrous first litter; she's been convinced for a long time that her and her litter were being punished by Starclan for their paternal sins so this litter has to go better since it's with a respectable mating and now she has the family image she always wanted with a tom to raise their kits beside her.
But if it sounds too good to be true...it probably is.
Disaster finds Doeheart again when she's out for a walk, noticeably pregnant and a rogue spots her. This rogue tom has always wanted kits of his own but he previously spent most of his time in the twolegplace where he was TNR. He's unaware he's neutered except that, since his abduction, the epiphany that drove him to desire a family to make meaning of his life as he thought he nearly died, he has not been able to produce kits. He fell in love many moons ago but she left him after their attempts to have kits failed over and over again. He blames his inability to have kits on her leaving him but in reality he'd grown bitter and she couldn't take it anymore. Moons have passed and now he's angry and bitter and desperate. He's lost sight of why he so wanted a family and is blinded only by obtaining what he's been denied. Enter pregnant Doeheart.
The rogue sees Doeheart out alone and abducts her. She is the ticket to him getting his kits. He blindly refuses to accept the kits as being another tom's and adamantly claims them as his own flesh and blood and thus won't allow Doeheart to leave. He has finally obtained his family. Once the kits are born, the rogue now only has to keep the kits close and Doeheart won't leave without her kits so she stays as well.
In Riverclan, nothing is known about Doeheart's whereabouts. Her mate can track her as far as her scent mingling with a rogue's so the assumption can be made that she's either abducted or dead but they're long gone with no hopes of tracking them down. Doeheart's return will be dependent on how this all goes and whether I get re-motivated to keep her going (*fingers crossed*).
Right now I'm only looking for a mate for Doeheart. Requirements are listed above.
