The abandoned shed

Minx stepped out from her nest, stepping away from the planks covered in vines and stone and stretched, she needed to gather more food for the next few nights. She padded to the nearby stream and drank from a crack in the ice before setting off to hunt

Minx returned with a few mice dangling from her jaw, enough to last her 2-3 days at most. However, she knew she needed to remark the area to the wandering away from her home especially clan cats

Xavier

Xavier slipped through the forest, mismatched blinking slowly as he took in his surroundings. The tall, dark golden Tom wasn’t quite sure where he had wandered to, but he did know that he was hungry, and should probably begin looking for a good place to hunt. He stumbled across a stream, and he looked around, opening his jaws to try and catch any scents he may have missed. As he did, he could catch the strong scent of prey. That made him feel a bit more bold as he started padding upstream, but then he caught another scent. The faint scent of another cat nearby. He stopped in his tracks and looked around out of reflex, wondering he how close the other cat was.

Minx stepped up slowly from behind the tomcat, her claws sheathed and her guard high, she crept across the ice slowly making sure not to alarm the tomcat before she spoke.

"Who are you, why are you here?" She barked, glaring daggers at this cat

Xavier

Xavier had sensed the molly approaching him, he wouldn’t have survived long if he hadn’t been able to tell when someone was sneaking up behind him. He quickly assumed that blank, emotionless expression he always made sure to put on whenever he was interacting with a stranger, and he carefully modulated his voice so it would come out distant and calm. “Name’s Xavier. I apologize if I am intruding on your territory. I was just passing through.” The tom replied, making sure the answers were quick and to the point, though he made sure not to reveal any more than was absolutely necessary. He didn’t bother asking for a name in return, as he most likely wouldn’t be seeing this cat again once she drive him off. Or, that was what he was assuming she would do. She looked rather hostile and he could sense her tension.

"Im minx, your fine to hunt here. Touch my den or prey however and we will have a problem." She growled, she never had time for toms in her life. She'd rather not deal with them.

Xavier fought back the urge to smirk. He was pretty sure if it did come to a fight, he would have no problem getting out of it unscathed, despite the numerous scars marring his pelt. “I have no interest in your den or prey.” He said instead, keeping his tone distant and voice calm and steady, much like a monotone. “Like I said before, I am merely passing through. I will be gone before the next sunset, at the most.” He shifted his weight and looked around.

"Fine by me, Id rather you not spend your time around me. Tomcats always seem to irk me." She sassed to the tom, climbing a nearby fallen tree and perching apon it
