~INTRODUCTION~
You ran away from your Twoleg home, and are lost, and it is night in a forest filled with plants. Your paws are burning as you step along the forest floor, getting splinters from walking on twigs and rocks. You stop to rest in a hollow tree, and you scent markers. The scent is moss mixed with ferns and pine. You fall asleep, wanting to be in your Twoleg nest.

The next day, the scent of cats is stronger. You see fresh pawmarks and fur on the forest floor. You scent the smell of dead mouse. You walk along and find a mouse buried in the floor. You dig it up and eat it. The mouse was still warm. You head back to your hollow tree and rest.

On the third day, You wake up to find a muscular cream cat standing in front of you. You curl back into the back of the hollow, scared of the cat. But the cat has a sense of kindness in his eyes. Welcome to MossClan little one. The cream cat leads you into a hollow with cherry blossoms and flowers. Right away, you knew this was home.

~RANKS~

~LEADER~
The leader leads the clan, and is the highest rank in the Clan. The leader's word is law, and failure to do so may result in punishment.


~CO-LEADER~
The Co-Leader is the mate or kit of the leader. They help the leader and lead alongside them. They have the same powers as the leader.

This rank is appointed


~DEPUTY~
The deputy is second-in-command of the leader. They are normally related to the leader and Co-Leader, and they assign patrols and can demote ranks.

This rank is appointed


~HEALER~
The healers are similar to medicine cats. They heal and share dreams with the ancestors. They also send out Herb patrols.

This rank is appointed


~HEALER APPRENTICE~
The apprentice of the healer. If the healer passes away, they earn their full healer name and get promoted.

This rank is appointed by the Healer


~PETALS~
Petals are the warriors that have earned their rank. They protect the clan and lead battles. They also can demote regular warriors, and are a special rank in the clan.

This rank is earned through role-play


~PETALS IN TRAINING~
These cats are training to be petals, and are selected by the petals to train for.

This rank is appointed

~MOSS-CLAWS~
Moss-claws are the battle warriors. They specialize in fighting, and they mainly have a strong build.


~MOSS-CLAWS IN TRAINING
Moss-Claws in training are in training to become Moss-Claws. They will learn to fight.


~CHASERS~
Chasers are the hunters. They have a lean build, and specialize in hunting.


~CHASERS IN TRAINING~
Are in training to become a Chaser. They will learn to hunt.


~STEMS~
Stems do not fit in either group, so they are trained by the high ranks, and help around camp.


~BLOOMERS~
Bloomers are cats that are expecting or nursing kits. A moon before their due date, they move into the nursery.


~NIGHT BLOOM~
The Night Bloom is a Bloomer that will stay in the nursery until they become a Bark. They help Bloomers when they are kitting, and help out with the seeds. They are almost like a second medicine cat, but for Blooms.

~SEEDS~
Seeds are kits below the age of six moons, or their ceremony has been delayed due to an injury or punishment. The Night Bloom and Bloomers look after them.

~BARKS~
Barks are cats that have moved to the elders den due to an injury or age. They tell stories and help bury the fallen.

~TRADITIONS~

~THE LEADERS~
The leaders are always mates, but when one passes away, they choose one of their offspring, or a close friend.


~THE HEALERS~
If both healers pass, or one passes without appointing a successor, then the ancestors will visit the dream of the next healer. The healers have a special connection with the ancestors.


~THE NIGHT OF STARS~
On the Longest Day in Leaf-bare, the ancestors come down from their places in the stars and spend the night back with their clan. They return to the stars when the sun breaks.


~THE NIGHT OF DARKNESS~
On the Longest day in Greenleaf, The Darkness of the Ancestors come down, and the cats must remain positive in order for the Darkness to leave them unharmed.


~THE DAY OF PETALS~
In the beginning of New-Leaf, We celebrate the day that MossClan came to life. The leaders tell stories of their rule, Healers tell stories about their dreams with the ancestors, and the barks share the stories that the previous leader had told. At the first sign of the moon, The previous leaders come down and share a story about life.


~THE NIGHT OF LIGHT~
This happens at the beginning of Greenleaf, where fireflies come out. The Leaders share stories about light, and the camp is lit up all night by the fireflies. The cats stay up all night and sleep the next day.


~STORIES OF PETALS~
In Leaf-fall the oldest cats come around and tell stories that have been passed down, their stories are about the forest and how the Ancestors gave it life.

~RULES~


~OUT OF ROLE-PLAY~

1. Powerplaying is not allowed, unless given permission by the person you are powerplaying against.

2. Events must be gone through me, and i will PM you a certain certificate and heading for it.

3. Bullying out of rp is not allowed

4. Explicit birth must be put in a spoiler, if done.

5. Explicit gore and blood, as well as trauma triggers must be put in a spoiler titled with a warning.

6. Permission for deaths by larger creatures (wolves, bears, etc.) must be granted.

7. You must submit a form for reincarnations. Resurrections do not exist in MossClan

8. WCO rules still apply.

9. Crossing boundaries must be confirmed with the leader of this clan and the other clan.

10. Posts like *Nodded* will not be allowed.

11. HIGH RANKS MUST BE EARNED

~TREE OF FLOWERS~
The Cherry Tree
The Cherry Tree is the Clan meeting spot. It is an old cherry tree whose leaves have withered away over time as the Clan grew. There is a branch that is crooked, and big enough that a cat could sit on it without the leaves obscuring them from view.


Leaders' Den
The den is made atop the Cherry Tree. There is a base at the top that is smooth, so they put the nests there. The trinkets they collect go on the branches surrounding the nests. The branches come out from the tree below the nests. The leaves of the tree are pink and white year-round


~PETALS' DEN~
The den for the Petals is found behind the Cherry Tree. The den entry is covered with ivy tendrils. The Petals sleep in the center of the den, While the Petals In Training sleep on the outer ring.


~HEALERS' DEN~
The den for the healers are to the right of the Cherry tree. The floor is padded with soft Cherry Petals and there is a small water stream. There are two nests for sick cats, and the Healers nests are in the back. There are lots of cracks and crevices near the healers nests to put their herbs in. There is also a small stream of water flowing near the edge of the den.


~DEPUTY'S DEN~
The deputy makes their den below a rock at the entry, and on that rock is where they assign the patrols.


~MOSS-CLAWS AND CHASERS DEN~
The Moss-Claws and Chasers sleep together. Moss-Claws sleep on the right of the den and Chasers on the left.


~DEN OF IN TRAINING'S~
The den for Moss-Claws and Chasers in training. The layout is the same of the Moss-Claw and Chasers den, yet the den itself is much smaller.


~DEN OF STEMS~
The stem's den is the smallest, with only five nests. The den is the neatest though, due to the Stems being the cleaners.


~NURSERY~
The Nursery is the largest den, and the entry is hidden by ivy tendrils. The floor is padded with moss and cherry leaves. There are ten large nests for the Bloomers, and a nest in the back for the Night Bloom. There is also a little play area tucked in the back for the seeds.


~BARK'S DEN~
The den for Barks are tucked in the back corner of camp. The den is around the size of the In-Training den, but with fewer nests.

~CLEARING~
The camp clearing is littered with fallen Cherry Petals. There is a lake tucked near the entry with shreds of moss next to it, and the fresh kill pile on the other side of camp.

~OUTSIDE CAMP~

~SHATTEREDCLAN BORDER~
At the ShatteredClan border is a river dividing the two clans. There are trees hiding the MossClan side. You often find birds here.


~RIVER OF FLOWERS~
This is a slow moving river by camp. Whenever a cat passes, a flower is added to the river.


~FOREST OF SECRETS~
This is the pine forest. You find squirrels, mice, voles, and shrews here.


~BIRDS' POINT~
A sunny part where most birds live. You can occasionally find deer and moose here.


~PREDATOR'S COVE~
A small cave where you can find bears and wolves here. Most cats stay away from there.


~COVE OF MOONS~
A small cave next to the sea. Inside is a small flower. Touch your head on the flower to go to the hunting grounds and receive your nine lives.


~THE WARMEST PEAK~
This is the meeting place of all the clans that border MossClan and ShatteredClan. There is a large rock at the top surrounded by trees. The leaders sit on the rock and the deputies sit at the roots of a tree holding up the rock. If the clouds cover the full moon, the meeting is over.
