personality ; a pushover, squirrelpaw has a tendency to let cats walk all over her - her hesitant and shy nature makes it hard for her to speak up for herself, a fear of being judged doesn't help either. she has a strong distaste for unfair treatment despite being too scared say anything about it. she's big on treating others how she wants to be treated. a gentle soul, squirrelpaw gets queasy at the thought of having to fight (ironic considering the history and reputation of shadowclan). she has a tendency to be sensitive and cry, a lot.

being a clan cat is hard, especially with all the constant battling, death, and just the responsibility alone of helping a whole clan. growing up doesn't make it any easier, especially when you're growing up in shadowclan of all clans while figuring out who you are. so, to sum it up, squirrelpaw feels as though she might die at any second...she's not sure whether it's because she's nervous or if she actually could die. but let's find her some things to help her!

- preferably someone with experience! over 25 moons of age.
- honestly I have two ideas for this, the mentor can either be someone who sees how squirrelpaw is and tries to shield her from the brutal nature of clan life while trying to get her out of her shell ..OR they can be strict on her and just tell her how it is, shes gonna have to deal with it. maybe a mixture of both. just..pls teach her to be able to speak up for herself, it'll take awhile but still lol.
- either way, I want squirrelpaws mentor to be a big part of her life and someone she'll see as a parental figure!!

FAMILY
[ mother: CLOSED ] 25-30 moons!! must be afab but doesn't have to identify as female. I would like it if she looked similar to squirrel, but it's not required since the father could always look like squirrel. would have been the more strict parent - not mean, just strict and very big on teaching squirrelpaw to have respect for her and squirrel's dad. would've constantly tried to get her to socialize as a kit and it just backfired ;;

[ father: open ] 50-60 (mother is around 68) moons must be amab but doesn't have to identify as male. preferably has some trait of squirrelpaw's whether that's russet fur, dark brown fur, with white markings, long fur, yellow eyes, or anything of that sort. he would've been the softer parent, coddling squirrelpaw as a kit and always quarreling with her mother about all the attempts of forcing her out of her shell.

squirrelpaw would've been born a single kitten in her mother's first litter! whether her mother has another litter in the future or not is completely up to the roleplayer. squirrels mother and father are not together anymore, the reason why can be discussed by the roleplayers!! but squirrel's mother definitely would've been the more strict one, not mean, just strict.

He is a very caring and emotionally centric cat, wanting to make sure those around him have support and to help where he can when things might not be the best for someone mentally. Not pushing people into being happy and okay but just being there for them when they arent. He tries to show others different ways to look at things when he can.
