'They took everything away from me.'
That was what ran through the fox's mind as she raced through the forest, trying to find a place to rest. Everywhere she looked there were humans. The large buildings close by and the ones dotted around scared her. What were they doing to her beloved forest?! Why???
The fox shook her head and continues running. The pups inside her were moving a lot. She could feel them. 'It must be close. I need to find somewhere to rest.' She ran on, before finally stopping at a small hole under a fallen tree. Here, she lay, breathing, exhausted...

Dark silver fox
The dark fox had scrambled into a tree at the site of a human in a forest. What business did they have there? Luckily, she was pretty deep in the forest when she caught glimpse of the two-legged things. The fox stared down to check for humans. Suddenly, she saw a movement that lead into a hole. What if a small human had invaded someone's hole? She couldn't let them do that!
She leaped down from the branch and snuffed near the hole, not noticing she had stuck her snout inside.

CeeCee pranced under a large oak tree happily, feeling the glory of being young. She was only eight, but she was allowed to be on her own and even had a phone.
The forest wasn't much anymore, and she missed it's seemingly endless shade.
Then she saw something. A red fox streaked past her in panic, fluffy tail streaming in the wind.
Cecelia loved animals, and even helped her parents run a wild animal sanctuary.
So she instinctively ran after the fox, crying gentle words like "It's okay, mama fox, it's okay!"

The fox heard something. She lifted her head and saw another snout peaking in the den. Fearing her safety, she swatted at the snout, and then heard a human. Gasping, she tired and dug herself a new hole out and started running, her swollen better slowing her down.

She frowned and sat down softly, calling, "mama, mama fox, mama, mama fox." she held out a handful of berries, as foxes were omnivores and would eat berries.
CeeCee flattened herself to the ground and continued calling softly, the berries in her outstretched hand. She then attempted to mimic fox barks, and it sounded like "you okay, you okay, mama fox. you okay," in fox to the expecting she-fox.

"OW!" She yelped. She whipped her head around and saw the human, her eyes widening. "Can I please come in there? I promise I won't hurt you!" She stuttered a bit at the end. She started to step in without permission out of fear of the human. Her tail fluffed up, blocking some of the sunlight from the hole by accident. As she was almost black, she was harder to see.
