Vinesmoke had been busy getting the new back up camp set up however it was a lot of work just for him and the tunnelers to do padding into a corner of the clearing he decided to host a little event to help him get some of this work done. His fur bristled against the cold he constantly shifted on his paws while he began to speak “Hey everyone im hosting a little event to help get our new back up camp set up gather round if your interested” he called out while his blue eyes looked around he hoped for the best though he wouldn’t be surprised if not many cats showed he knew a lot of his clanmates thought he was too young to teach he thought back to arcs words but pushed them aside. “So we’ll be split up into two groups cats who have tunneling experience and those who don’t. For the ones who dont you’ll be patching up some holes with mud and moss I also need some cats to bring in some bushes and things to make it feel more like home.” Now onto the next group “For the cats who do have tunneling experience you’ll be with me we will be working on the main entrance Crowtooth collapsed it when the minks were there but they are all dead now…I’d like to stress I better not catch any cats who don’t know a lick about tunneling in the tunneler group it’s quite dangerous and I don’t want liability’s”he said his blue eyes sharp he usually was nervous but this was something he couldn’t stress enough “If you have any questions come see me..Oh! And also those of you who do help in I’ll give a lesson afterwards so you can gain some tunneling skills saftey and the basics”

Howdy everyone heres the jist this event is for apprentices and warriors only sorry kits
-Vinesmoke is hosting this any questions you have go to him or any fury if any join
-Tunnelers,Tunneler apprentices and cats who were given lessons by a tunneler can help Vinesmoke with the main cavern entrance
- Cats who bring moss mud bushes tidy up make dens from the dirt and stay for the event will receive lessons by me for tunneling plus you can keep whatever cool mink skulls you find
-NO CAT OTHER THAN A FULLY TRAINED TUNNELER MAY GO INTO THE TUNNELS ALONE seriously ethier with one or none

Windpaw gleefully bounded over. This would be the perfect opportunity to learn more about tunelling! Her tail twitched with excitement as she watched more cats gather through dual toned eyes.

This all sounds like a whole lot of stuff that Maggotpaw will hate and want nothing to do with (or is useless at, like the tunneling)....until Vinesmoke mentions making the new camp feel more like home. And, oh, does Maggotpaw adore that sort of thing. Decorating. Making places nice and soft and warm. Even if the chore of filling holes and making repairs sounds hard and boring, surely it must be worth it if afterwards they get to decorate. And maybe they can skip the lesson being offered and just decorate.

"Not just bushes but leaves too! And fur and feathers and grass sometimes also. And moss but probably not a lot of moss." It's still not quite warm enough for good moss to grow in just yet, and it sounds like moss is going to be used for a task that's 'more important' than making the place nice and cozy, but that's fine. They've got options.

"I'm going." And it sits.

Fleetpaw looked up at Vinesmoke's call, he vaguely remembered Dustbunny saying something about this (maybe) at some point. The skinny, lanky tom hurried up to Vinesmoke, dipping his head in greeting to the full fledged tunneler. "I-I-I...I'd l-like...t-to help." He mewed, flashing a small and flustered smile. He wasn't sure how useful he'd be, but he knew that cats with tunneling experience was short at the moment. Surely what little he could contribute would be worth...something at least.

Ah. Of course his apprentice wanted in on this nonsense. Whisperinghive huffed a soft sigh, marching over to the small group and dropping onto his rump. He supposed he might as well be useful, perhaps Leopardsong would be around. Perhaps someone else he tolerated. Whatever. He really needed to make sure Maggotpaw didn't die, because the tom still wasn't entirely sure it wouldn't get lost in the tunnels through simple foolishness, or even intentionally just to spite him. I've done no tunneling, so I'd best help with the easier stuff. he mewed, to Vinesmoke or to the group at large. It didn't seem like many cats were experienced, so he probably wouldn't be in the minority. It'd be fine. Even if he hated the dark dirtiness.

VINESMOKE WAS HOLDING AN EVENT! Deadmoon was just about blown over, surprised and pleased and proud in equal measure. Trotting over, she waved a paw quickly at the young tunneler. I haven't done anything since I was just about an apprentice, so I reckon I'd better go with the newbies. she muttered, padding over towards the larger group of cats. Eww. Whisperinghive. Yeah, no thanks. She took a quick detour, and sat down on the opposite side of the group. Hard pass. She didn't feel like getting in an argument of any kind, and she kind of feared that would be where any interaction between the two was headed. Whatever. Focus on being proud of the kid, not on the maybe-beef she had with one of the younger warriors. She should be better than this, for stars sakes. (BOTH OPEN)

Cottonpaw made his way over at Vinesmoke’s call, ”I.I c.c.can he.help!” The youngster squeaked with enthusiasm, offering up a warm smile to the tunneler. He was determined to learn a little more about it. He could certainly patch up holes with mud and moss, that was an easy task to set himself to. He sat himself next to Windpaw, attempting to bump her nose with his own.
