Dull days were these, so why not take some time to unwind and unleashe the creative side?
Thornbird sat on the middle of the clearing. "To everyone interested, I'll teach how to craft and weave," ey spoke with calm but loud tone, so everycat would hear.
The massive rosetted cat already had an assortment of materials. Feathers, straws, dried herbs, tufts of fur, bones, teeth and claws from many animals, and some colorful scraps that smelled a bit like twolegs.
"Every cat is free to join, from the oldest elder to the youngest kit." This posed little to no risk, and it was fun.

How this works.

Everyone is free to join as said earlier. Thornbird will be teaching cats how to weave materials to make accessories, baskets, blankets, nests and other things.

Dreamheart perked her ears up, and padded over curiously. Looking around, she spotted her sister and dragged Ferncurl with her.

Ferncurl grumbled in protest as Dreamheart dragged her. But soon enough, her eyes lit up once she realized it was crafting, and then she couldn't get there fast enough!

..... Generally Crowtooth was too busy to do events unless he was running them buuuuuuut. Well sue him, this sounded interesting! Even deputies needed breaks! So he padded up and settled in, head cocked and willing to at least give this a try.

Barleypaw heard a cat call for an event. Usually not one to do these she decided maybe it was time to try again. She didn't care that she was blind and probably wouldn't be able to make anything look nice, but she could at least try. She wanted to push herself to do more.

Well, many cats have joined, ey didn't expect that, but it was definitely very nice.
"Please, take anything from the pile you might need, but only what you need," ey spoke, vaguely gesturing to the pile of materials.
There was a lot of straw and stalks, as well as dried herbs, feathers, bones, claws and teeth, tufts of fur, twoleg-smelling colorful scraps and other things.
"I will be teaching you how to weave straw and stalks," ey explained before adding, "those who already know how to weave, then help your clanmates, the ones who're struggling." After all, kindness and teamwork were important values.
Thornbird carefully grabbed a small amount of sturdy dried stalks, starting to loop and tie in practiced knots, making a thin but strong chain with them, almost like the pattern some of the pelts the twolegs wear when it's cold.
The rosetted tabby made sure that the movements of eir polydactyl paws was clear to everyone here and the view was unobstructed, so everyone could learn.
