I made a finder for Hickorykit a while ago, but I feel like their story no longer matches. I strive to create a story of a character broken and beaten by their world - their vision so narrow they cannot see beyond the confines of their familial relationships.

Of course, things weren't always like this. Hickorykit is a bundle of curiosity, with her own sets of dreams and hopes. Yet she's always combatted by her parent's - more so her father than her mother - goals for her own life. She's set on a path to become one of ShadowClan's favored warriors. But what about what she wants? Trapped within a picture she's forced to succeed in makes her anxious. The simple thought of her aforementioned future made her thoughts grow of boredom, the silly fantasies of clouds and sunsets she'd once looked up to gone into a new bleak state of mind.

What Am I Looking For?

I'm looking for cats who can fill the roles of her mother, father, and older sibling. As for what that entails, I'll let you decide! Though for the story, your characters should be constantly at Hickorykit's paws, urging her, or even forcing her, to take part in kit lessons or learn certain pre-moves so she can get ahead. The father is the most intensely toxic of the bunch, and should be only focused on Hickorykit's success and hyper-critical of her mistakes and such. I want Hickorykit to fall into the narrative of wanting to excel to the point of burn-out just to have attention from her family. It's that kind of toxic, manipulative bond that keeps her going throughout kit-hood and apprentice-hood. Extra note: Please make sure your cat looks at least a little similar to Hickorykit! Thank you.

About the older sibling: The older sibling escaped the toxicity of their parents, but is not necessarily proactive in saving Hickorykit. They do try their best to guide Hickorykit, but once she sets her mind on something it's hard to shake her out of it. The older sibling would serve as someone Hickorykit can look up to, and someone her parents often compare her to, while also being a major character when she grows up to help guide her through the aftermath of her parents abuse.

While I'm looking for familial relations, I'm also looking for friendly ones. Hickorykit has already had a few interactions, and if you'd like to fill out a form for this section, you can treat it as if they're interacting for the very first time! (Because they will be)

I want to make sure that Hickorykit really shows her kit-like flair and how it falters and fumbles as her very dreamer-like mind is forced into a consistent, reality slump. And to do that - she might have to push some cats away. That is, if she becomes really good friends with your cat. Though that can be discussed more via PM or VM! ^^

This kind of helps me plan future interactions and to get a feel of how Hickory will act around your cat specifically ^^

I would love set up a interaction between soon! Whether that's today, tomorrow, or whichever can be up to you!

Twigh is more introverted, sharp-tongued, and protective of her loved ones- having basically raised her siblings. She's picked up some language from all the older cats in camp and is extremely mature for her age, resentful of her parents who both in her mind abandoned her and her littermates. That's a touchy subject for her, so if you want to hear a long rant just ask her something about them lol. For the most part, she's cool-headed and can handle conflicts swiftly and efficiently, though at times she can be a bit like an overbearing mother. She would totally teach Hickory all about different things she's learned and stand up for her, at the same time trying to help her take more breaks and go easier on herself. She would probably hate her family though, and make attempts to steer her away from their influence.
