Fallownose frowned as Rapidkit said he didn't remember. "Was it somewhere you didn't recognize? And why did you leave camp in the first place?" he asked gently, flicking his tail so it curled around the kit when they scurried closer to him.
Fallownose let out a soft snort of amusement at Cardinalkit's explanation. "It was very nice of you to try and bring your mother a gift, but you know you're not supposed to go out of camp. This is the exact reason why."
Rapid'Kit
he/him
Letting in a slight grunt "I saw something out of camp that seemed.." He paused trying to think of the best way to describe what he'd seen without getting the embarrassing part through. "Out of sorts i guess fits?' looking up at fallow then continued "besides i didn't think i'd get lost"
fireflame watched her kits knowing if she closed her eyes they get in trouble in some way" are you jealous of fallkit? badger" she says in a soft tone

The tom smiled as he padded out. He wanted Mistypaw to meet him there, but she was there already. Chores already done? Ok, Today I will show you around the border, Starting with the riverclan border. He mewed, padding in the direction of that border
Mistypaw nodded, she wasn’t one to really talk all too much. She padded after him to the border.
Hunting patrols, do not forget to link your posts and add what your character caught to the prey pile

Closing his eyes for a few seconds as he calmed down, shoving all of his feelings down once more. It wasn’t that Leopardsong was annoying,to his surprise she was quieter than he expected! The brown shecat padded up to the deputy giving Fallownose a slight glare. “We finished. Leopardsong was quite the partner, feel free to assign me to a patrol with her again,it would actually be preferable.” He spoke clearly,Leopard was in fact a joy to work with although she was a bit into getting into other business.
I like really enjoy Leopard,so if you could throw Moose on any patrol with her from now on it would great! //
Fallownose wrapped his tail neatly over his paws as Moosedusk came over to give his report. Why on earth the warrior decided to glare at him slightly was beyond him. "I'm glad you two got along, and I'll keep your request in mind. It won't always be possible, however." With that the deputy twitched his ears in dismissal of Moosedusk.
Basilcliff dragged the hare through the entrance, her neck craning under the weight. Her paws landed heavily with each step as she crossed the clearing to deposit the prey, and took a small breath as the hare dropped onto the fresh-kill pile; laying heavy over the other various prey that littered the pile. With a flick of her tail she glanced around for Fallownose, quickly spotting the deputy not far off. Perking her ears, she crossed the space between them, coming to stand in front of the tom.
"Fallownose," She mew, flicking her tail in greeting. "The hunting patrol went well, we manged to find quite the hare." She nodded to the fresh-kill pile where the catch could be seen before turning back to Fallownose. Not wanting to discredit her patrol-mate, she added, "Wrenpaw did great, she'll be a fine hunter." She praised with a grin, dipping her head before she padded off.
Fallownose's ears perked in pleasure as Basilcliff made her report. "Very ncie catch, and I'm glad to hear it. Hopefully WindClan will be making new warriors soon," he replied with a nod before the molly walked off.
Padding back into camp, the little she-cat made her way to Fallownose, a snake dangling between her forelegs and dragging on the ground beneath her. She carefully set the snake down and looked up at the deputy. "Hunting was a bit sparse at Adder Rocks. Barkbite caught a mouse, and I caught this snake when it lunged at him," she reported. "There were quite a few snakes sunning themselves on the rocks. Other than that I have nothing notable to report."
Fallownose nodded, a slight frown on his face when Pinestrike mentioned the snakes. They had never managed to kill a cat as far as he knew, however, so he wasn't overly concerned about it. "Good job, go ahead and place that on the pile," he mewed as he dismissed her with a flick of his tail.

When the apprentice padded up to Fallownose to give their report he couldn't help the curious look that crossed his face. It quickly turned to a frown, not having time to be amused at Rainypaw's predicament when they told him how Lioncloud didn't show up and Ashfall didn't come back. "I see, thank you for the report Rainypaw. You did well."

Fallownose let out an annoyed grunt as he stood and headed over to the base of Breezerock to call the cats he had to punish for slacking on patrol. It was more than he had to do in the past and it displeased him that cats seemed to be slacking off more and more.
"Goldenheart, Hawkpaw, Icestorm, Coyoteear, Beastpaw, Lioncloud, Ashfall, Shattervenom, and Sorrelhawk. All of you gather here for your punishments for either failing to complete or slacking off on patrol." The deputy waited a moment for said cats to gather before beginning on dishing out the punishemnts.
"Goldenheart and Icestorm, you were assigned as leaders of your patrol and decided not to report. From now on, until you complete your punishment, you will be known as Goldenpaw and Icepaw respectively. Prove you can handle the duties of a warrior and you will have your names back." This was the first time Fallownose had to demote patrol leaders for failing to complete the patrol and it made him a little nervous. He had gotten approval from Twilighstar so hopefully they wouldn't put up too much of a fuss.
"Goldenpaw and Hawkpaw, you both did not complete the hunting patrol so you must each bring back two pieces of prey to complete your punishment. Icepaw, Coyoteear, Beastpaw, Lioncloud, Ashfall, Shattervenom and Sorrelhawk, you all slacked off on a border patrol and will make up for it by collecting herbs for Cowpaw. I admit that on the ShadowClan patrol I could have done better, so I will help with collecting herbs as well. And Lioncloud, be thankful that Rainypaw reported the patrol for you, otherwise you would be an apprentice right now."
Hopefully the punishments would go smoothly and teach these cats that slacking off was not acceptable. To be part of a Clan you had to contribute, and these cats certainly hadn't been doing that lately.
"If you believe you are being wrongfully punished then now is the time to speak out. Otherwise, Icepaw and Hawkpaw can start their punishment while the rest of us wait for Cowpaw."
[OOC: You have 1 week from this post (May 23rd) to complete this punishment or your character risks further consequences. If you believe I have made a mistake, have your character tell Fallow IC and feel free to leave a VM as well if you feel the need and I will get it sorted!]

Stretching to get the kinks out of her muscles, Shattervenom trotted briskly back to Cowpaw's den--holding a few sticks with plentiful cobwebs wrapped about them. She made sure to carry the twigs in such a way that the precious webs wouldn't stick together and mentally thanked her patrol mates for their hard work and great advice. Together, she and the others had actually enjoyed a fairly pleasant patrol…
And Shatter hadn't needed to duck into any gross tunnels.
"We're back, Cowpaw," murmured the tall warrior after propping her cob webs where the medicine cat could see them. "Everyone did well. Great teamwork. One thing, though… I saw these weird mushrooms growing in one of the tunnels. Black, slimy. Not sure what it was."
She shrugged and sat down, awaiting her diligent patrol buddies.
One moment Sorrelhawk had been there, marching along with the patrol, and then Shattervenom glanced back to ask him something and the wounded warrior had been… gone. Her first instinct had been to double back and search for him. What if his injuries were slowing him down? What if he were in danger? She sincerely doubted that Sorrel would abandon his duties for a frivolous reason--anxiety twisted her guts, worrying for the worst case scenario--and then, Shatter realized with mortification, Fallownose had moved on without them. The deputy had not cared that a cat with cobwebs still holding him together had drifted off. Instead, the first thing that Shattervenom heard upon picking up Fallownose's scent again, was that she and her missing patrol partner had been slacking off.
Pain punched into her chest. What had she done for Fallownose to immediately assume such an unflattering narrative? Is that how he viewed her? As a warrior that shirked duties so brazenly?
Dainty paws carried her forward. Shatter held her crown high, but her tail skimmed mid-level, ever respectful despite the affronted ache in her heart.
"Forgive me, Fallownose. I did not feel… comfortable moving onward without knowing what became of Sorrelhawk."
Shattervenom didn't think it was necessarily fair for Fallownose to assume she'd disappeared; apparently it'd been the wrong move to fall back and wait for Sorrelhawk, but the tall warrior had truly balked at writing off her fellow patrolmate and going forth with Fallownose. She should not have tried to be polite. Her conscientiousness had only ended in punishment, in her deputy assuming the worst when so far the ebony-and-ivory huntress had done her best to support her clan and strengthen more relationships. This was a dance she wasn't used to yet: the balance of respecting the actions of a clanmate, and stepping up--aggressively, if necessary--cutting in front of stragglers to get things done.
"Next time I will not wait for my absent partners to respond. I will merely leave them behind, as you wish. Hopefully Sorrel is okay." Her tone left her cool and level, the flatness of ice over a frozen pond; her eyes regarded Fallownose with a distant, stony expression--not challenging his decree, not baiting his anger, but also not ashamed.
If her leaders wanted an unfeeling warrior, if they wanted to believe that her failure to step on her peers was a failure of her character--was laziness--well, that was their choice. It hurt that the deputy was so quick to chastise loyal WindClan cats as if they were silly kits rather than question what might have lead them to a less than stellar performance, but Shatter did not have the energy to defend herself. Besides… the lithe fighter could think of worse things to do than collect herbs for Cowpaw.
And, Shatter had to admit, at least Fallownose was taking responsibility and gathering herbs with them.
With a quiet exhale, Shattervenom folded herself into a seated position to wait for the medicine cat, looking toward the horizon with one ear flicked toward Fallow if the tom had anything more to say.
