Bunnypaw gave a rather nervous glance to her mentor and nodded,” Yes…I remember…when do you want me to attempt to catch it?” she meowed hesitantly as she sadly had little faith in herself.
Breezedapple touched her tail-tip to Bunnypaw's shoulder. "Whenever you're ready. Do push yourself, Bunnypaw. Take your time. I know the first catch is always the hardest." Breezedapple remembered her own first hunt, which had been both thrilling and terrifying. But she had ended up catching that rabbit. And Bunnypaw would, too.
Silentstorm at Redspark. She couldn't quite tell what he was trying to say. Time to go hunting, perhaps? She was never quite sure how their voices were supposed to sound. He looked nervous, but it didn't match the shapes of his maw. Never mind that. Her eyes wandered back to Deadpaw, who was ambling over to them. Silentstorm stared at the apprentice as she spoke.
No need to fetch her. Ha, she thought bitterly. All she wanted was to help, but the glare shot her way told her that wasn't how she seemed. Silentstorm returned the look with one of her own. Are all apprentices like this these days? It reminded herself of Snakepaw a little bit too much. The coward. "Where should we hunt?" Her tail flicked impatiently as she stared expectantly at Redspark.
Twigpaw's jaw dropped. Like, just completely just dropped. "You were ShadowClan?" He gasped. "But I thought ShadowClan and WindClan hated each other!" Didn't they? Twigpaw blinked, still astonished. He couldn't believe it!

Sunnyfur padded into the camp clearing from the warriors den. Everything seemed to have settled down just a little bit. Hopefully nothing else would go bad. Well worst then it could in a clan.

On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.
Swiftwind came padding into the clearing, her ears flicking as she twisted her head side to side. She had been out hunting and as she dropped the rabbit off her ears flicked. Turning her attention to the small mews of kits she tilted her head.
Padding over, she recognized Cinderkit and Hawkkit. Letting out a amused merrw she walked over, her paws dragging lightly, but when she saw the upset look on Cinderkits face her amused look fell. Taking in a light breath she paused at their side ”what’s wrong Cinderkit?” glancing between Hawkkit and Cinderkit she was a bit confused, what could the tiner one have done?
Bearbranch came back from the Whispering Wetlands to report the unfortunate to Wolffang, as he approached the tom a bit of sadness lingered on his face from the owl. "Wolffang, I've come back from the ShadowClan border and i'm not completely sure where Lioncloud is so I'm here to report the patrol for him. Nothing was out of the ordinary except.. there was a dead owl near the border and ShadowClan's scent was all over.. it was a bit unbearable how much was there. I'm not really sure what this means though." It was true, he didn't know what it meant, but his usual deadface showed a small frown from the death of the owl.

She was still rattled from the dog attack. Still uneasy about the fate of Rosebriar. Perhaps thats why she didn't hear Emberlight until she was practically crawling into her den, a trail of scarlet behind her. Peachfrost bounded up beside the warrior, allowing Emberlight to put most if not all her weight on the medicine cat.
Her sides were slashed, deep and oozing red. Those would need to be attended to as soon as possible. The right side of her face was the same as her sides, unforgiving slices ripping open skin. It was alarmingly similar to Rosebriar. However something was different. The slashes were much thinner but more... accurate. Intentional. There was no way a dog had done this.
Using her tail to push two poppy seeds the warriors way, Peachfrost gently lowered Emberlight to the ground so she was laying on her tummy. "I need you to eat these for me ok?" She meowed, voice firm but caring. Emberlight was clearly in shock. She would need to get the painkillers in soon. She shoveled two marigold into her mouth and began to chew before quickly spitting it onto the warrior's wounds. Her paws gently spread them around, making sure to be thorough.
One cobweb rap later and she was done. For now. Even a kit could tell that the sight in Emberlight's eye was long gone, nothing but a nasty scar in its place. As she gave a few soothing licks to the unwounded side of the patients head, rage began to build. Who did this?
Emberlight whimpered quietly as Peachfrost helped guide her inside. Grunting as she lowered to her stomach her vision began to blur again. She heard the medicine push something towards her and she reached for it with her tongue, blindly looking for the seeds. She finally found them and lapped them up, her face aching as the forward movement made what little vision she currently had swim. Anytime she tried to open her eyes wider all she could see where the bright amber eyes of Grimhound staring back at her. It both made her blood run cold and cause her heart to race.
As Peachfrost bandaged her sides up Emberlight laid silent, a thousand questions and thoughts firing through her.
Where the others okay? Was she an embarrassment because she fled? Did anyone else face Grimhound in battle? Was he okay? Did he even give her a second glance as he left her to bleed?
Her breath grew rapid as she realized what she was even wondering about.
How dare he invade her thoughts like this! She shouldn’t be thinking this, for all she cared he could be dead. That stupid, evil, barbaric, conniving, handsome—
She felt Peachfrosts tongue give her a warm and caring lick and her thoughts melted away. What ever the medicine cat had done was immediately giving her some relief.
Finding her voice, Emberlight gave a small “thank you” as she laid her head down.
The battle may have had been over for her but she was by no means done with what had occurred at the battle.
Twigpaw's jaw dropped. Like, just completely just dropped. "You were ShadowClan?" He gasped. "But I thought ShadowClan and WindClan hated each other!" Didn't they? Twigpaw blinked, still astonished. He couldn't believe it!

Ashnose sat down for a moment.
"My mother and father didn't want me. It's a miracle I survived. I was raised by myself but I thought life in ShadowClan was too harsh for me so I left when I was a 'paw." She shook her head. "Not to say that WindClan isn't tough or fierce, just... gentler."

Peanutfur gave a little jerk when he heard his name mentioned, turning away from the kit he was talking to. "U-um yes. Here!" He hopped neatly over the nursery and walked quickly towards the others, noticing they seemed to already be in conversation. Trying not to seem too late, he sat down near Silentstorm, flinching when she suddenly asked a question. Ah, wait no we're supposed to know this so we know what we're doing. No need to get freaked out. He looked from Silentstorm to Redspark, then, also trying to look expectant but trying not to look too expectant.
