Bumblestreak paced in camp, his friend Snowingowl had been in the medicine cat den for a while, what was wrong? He swallowed nervously as he paused to stare at the den, kneading the ground below him as he waited, not so patiently.

Looking at his clanmates. he realized that he barely knew most of them. Maybe it was time to get well acquainted. He smiled at the kit, Yes, I'll come by later. I need to take Rainypaw out for some training first though, so why don't you go find your mother or one of your siblings? Okay? he said to the kit. He looked apologetically towards his apprentice. Go on now, Bushkit. Go play somewhere. I have to do warrior stuff right now. he hated dismissing his kits, but he really did need to stay at the meeting now.

Poking her muzzle outside the nursery, Mistkit glanced around at the other (much bigger) cats milling about and chatting. Her dad had to be out there somewhere, and if what she overheard was right... Her ears drooped slightly before she shook the sad thought out of her head. Her papa wouldn't pick favorites would he? She'd just have to go out and ask him herself.

She rose from her crouch at the nursery entrance and raced to one side of the clearing in an attempt to see Greysquirrel, before skidding to a halt. She should get a mouse to share! That would be nice. Twisting around to head towards the fresh kill pile she picked a nice mouse and dragged it over to a nice sunbeam to sit in. There! Now I just have to find him.... She probably should have done that first, but no matter. She found a nice sunspot and had a nice mouse all ready to share! ( @Peril if you'd like to join )

He had been sitting on a rock, when one of his kits dashed out of the nursery. When she settled, he approached her. Mistkit! What're you doing out here, sweetie? he asked with a chuckle.
