His paws were heavy but pace quick as he carried the two other kits back as well after sending the hurt one with Swiftleap. "There there" he mewed calmly as he placed down the two kits in front of the cat who seemed to be their mother. "No need to panic, let's stay calm and we can get this done quicker. I'm sure our medicine cat will be able to take care of Specklekit, but I would suggest you take care of these two, the sight of blood for such young kits is never good, they will need their mother." He nodded to the two other kits, before glancing around for their leader, but she didn't seem to be within eyesight.

"Fallownose?" He called, picking the second best option in the deputy. "You might want to be here for this, I have things to report to Twilightstar, about the foxes."

Shrubwhisper keeps her tail around Swiftkit and Duckkit, looking for one of the queens. There is the smell of blood in the air.

Fallownose pricked his ears as he heard a commotion outside of the warriors den and slid from his nest to investigate. He was just pushing his way out when he heard Owlglide call his name. Anxiety pricked his paws as he hurried over, assuming that something serious had happened since he was being called.

"Foxes? What happened?" he demanded as he glanced at the kits. The blood on Specklekit worried him greatly, but there was nothing he could do until Cowpaw got here. He could only pray to StarClan that the kit would survive until they received help.

"Twilightstar is at the Sky Glade, is this important enough to send a patrol to get her? If it's multiple foxes I'll have to send out a battle patrol now to make sure they're driven off, unless you managed that already." Stars this was bad! Twilightstar had left him in charge of camp while she was taking back their territory and this happened. Was he doing the right thing?

Sootflare could understand that - not the time away bit, but the notion of having a lot to unpack. His family could also be described as 'kind of... anyway'. The gears continued to turn in the back of his head at the mention of her mother watching over Pinekit, memories of an oddly familiar molly composed of stars.

"I'm... sorry for your loss." He paused to press his body briefly against hers, in the hopes of offering some comfort, "If it brings you any solace, if they're with your mother I think I can safely say they're in a good place. I'm- not entirely sure yet. That's uh, yeah. A conversation for another time. You'll have to introduce me to that brother of yours, just to be sure. And I'll keep an eye out for the other two boogers in the mean time."

As for those next comments... Sootflare remained peacefully (or painfully) oblivious.

"Oh, I don't know about that. I think if I was anything of a looker, Lionstar wouldn't have tried to arrange an outing with my and all the available mollies he could get his paws on." A sharp laugh followed. A little harsh, and a little forced, but a hint of amusement twinkled in his eyes alongside it.

"Really, I uh, I don't know why he tried. It went terribly." he continued, scrunching up his face in a comical manner, "I think they were mostly there for the food. To be fair, I didn't want to be there either."

The pause between her next question and his response was loaded with opportunity and any tom who was interested or perhaps a little less dense than a brick wall in the romance department would have jumped at it. Sootflare, however, continued on in his ignorant manner. He glanced her up and down before giving his response,"I don't think you would have the same problem. Twilightstar doesn't seem like the matchmaking type, though. Unfortunate, really."

He was close, when the rabbit spotted him. It ran, but it was too late. The warrior was on top of it. It squeeled but he cut it off with a swift bite to the neck. He picked it up and brought it to Mistypaw. "ta-da!" He mewed akwardly.

Twilightstar scanned the territory as the molly apologized. She opened her maw and tasted the air in case there was something lurking, but found nothing overly concerning. Her eye drifted back to the unknown she-cat as she spoke of having very little knowledge of the clans. "Yes, we're called clans. Who are you and where'd you get torn up like that?" Twilightstar doubted it was from another clan, ShadowClan would have killed her, ThunderClan was in shambles, and well, Twilightstar wasn't sure how RiverClan handled tresspassers.

As she-cat gave her name and stated she was a former member of ThunderClan, Twilightstar cocked her head trying to call if she had seen too this molly at a gathering or heard of her but nothing was coming to mind. "Are you certain you belong to ThunderClan or any clan, I don't recall seeing you at any gathering?"

Twilightstar narrowed her eye at Twilightstorm's words. That wasn't an excuse to her. "So what your telling me is that family business means that you should just up and abandon your clan and your duties?" Twilightstar would have been more willing to let the tom off if he had informed her he was leaving for this family business.

Flight looked at the she-cat. "I said my name. My name is Flight and I was just passing through my little den near the tall pink hairless cats(twolegs) and then about three other cats jumped at me. A male black tom, a female white and black cat, and a gray tom. All would have shredded me if I didn't run. I killed the gray male and lost the other two but they could be looking for me. I understand if you wish not me being in this 'Clan' of yours, even if you are not the one leading it." Flight started turning around when the she-cat voice made her stop and look back. Her left front paw was twisted in a painful way.

A little nervous about the battle going on Rabbitpaw was just pacing around the camp. She hoped there would be no deaths among her clanmates. She hated death. It terrified her and it made her feel sad. She liked to be happy. She wanted to be happy not upset. Looking around Rabbitpaw saw a warrior and moved over to them. Maybe a conversation would calm her down. At least she hoped it would. "Mind if I bother you?", she asked. Her voice showed how nervous she was about the whole battle.

Spottedmask took a moment to process that another cat was there, instantly perking up, eyes gleaming, and tail swishing in an attempt to look cheerful despite the apprentices clear nervousness that he detected from her voice. His white-and-ginger paws pawed at the ground a couple of times as they responded.
"I think it would be a little silly to call it a bother. Haaah, I think it's a sound idea. I wouldn't mind at all," Spottedmask clarified, trying to joke around a little. They nodded to the fresh kill pile, then looked at Rabbitpaw. "Want to share a rabbit?"
