"Vinewatcher, we're on a hunting patrol! We're going to Cattail Pond! Come on, come on!" Littlepaw was excited. Finally, some time to explore the territory and see what it had to offer!
Littlepaw darted forward, ahead of her mentor, and out of the camp, she then stopped and waited for the warrior to follow behind.

"Lionsbeach--yeah! You got it! We're going to bring back SO MUCH prey!" Flickerpaw barreled into the assignment meeting with their pelt fluffed in excitement and her eyes wild. Their mentor hadn't officially taken them hunting yet… nor had Mintleaf spent much time working on Flicker's hunting skills, not for lack of the girl trying to push him out of his nest. An opportunity to kill stuff on patrol would be GREAT practice!

"Okay, be back later! Save some room at the prey pile!" Without waiting for Frecklecry (and perhaps forgetting that Frecklecry was even part of her team) the sooty spitfire raced out if camp. She'd make this most amazingly successful patrol ever completed--and that'd show Snailpaw who the superior apprentice was!

Frozen’paw he-they

Frozen’paw walked up quietly to the patrol place. A patrol with Pebble’creek? That was something he’d be down for any day. Not that he would ever skip a patrol but having such a close friend with him was definitely an encouraging factor. He couldn’t say he knew Robin’paw all that well, but maybe he could step out of his comfort zone and attempt to make a friend? He only really had two, if you really wanted to count Snow’leap, but other than him, he’d only consider himself close to Pebble’creek. More friends was good right?

Smiling at the mention of Frozenpaw’s name, she walked over to him, giving him a soft nuzzle in the neck. “Who’s ready for this?!” Pebblecreek said. Was she leading this patrol? I think she was. It was her first time being in charge of a patrol and she had only ever really been on like 5 patrols before, but she was the only warrior. Oh right, she was a warrior now.

Fawnpaw
Upon hearing her name called, the young she-cat perked up and cast her gaze over to Snowleap. She was going on another patrol! This was surely to be exciting - especially since it was with two warriors she knew!

With an eagerness in her paws Fawnpaw bounded over to where she spotted her mentor. "Hello Mr. Lynxfall! How are you doing?" A wide grin stretched across her face as she took a seat and neatly wrapped her tail around her paws. She sat tall and with her shoulders back, as proper as she could manage.

The oriental was relieved to be assigned to Windclan's border, lacking the patience to deal with the other two clans. Wormbite approached the two in said patrol, dipping his head in a respectful greeting. A brief interaction with Fawnpaw left him fond of her and despite having no prior interactions with Lynxfall - he was well aware on who the warrior was.

He silently offered his thanks to Snowleap for having mercy on the Shield in who his patrolmates would be. "You can talk on the way there, " Wormbite mewed, a light-hearted twinkle in his eyes that gave away to there was no scolding in his statement. Only a way to shift the patrol along. (and maybe escape small talk)

Another nod and a beat of silence in case of objections. Wormbite headed out of the camp in the direction of Windclan's border.

After her patrol mate returned - seemingly with the same good luck Flamesong had - and she nodded proudly before picking up their part and signaling to Softecho to head back to camp. Right after coming back the Toyger dropped her prey and looked for the deputy. "Snowleap! Softecho and I are back from Heaven Springs. Really good hunting today - two lizards, three voles, and one thrush total. And no sighs of trouble!" It was unusual for the molly to have quite this much energy, but a good hunt tended to be the best way to get her mood up.

Littlepaw padded back into camp with her waterfowl. Her head and tail were both held high as she looked at Snowleap.

"I caught a waterfowl!" she purred with pride. "Vinewatcher got a couple of fish, and she is probably going to come with the fish I caught too!"

The small she-cat dropped the waterfowl at Snowleap's feet and walked away to be with the Clan, not waiting for Vinewatcher to report.

Softecho placed her catch next to Flamesong, observing it with pride. She had Flamesong had been very successful this hunt. The she-cat noticed that Flamesong has in a uncharacteristically good mood. Must be the hunting adrenaline, Softecho decided. That was good. It was wrong for a cat to be so stiff.
