ThunderClan: Life Before 2023's Sinkhole

Yay!! Turtykit came!!

Giggled Vixenkit as she ran away from her sister – only to still be swatted by her paw! The ginger spotted kitten stopped in her tracks and copied her sisters snicker with a laugh after sticking out her tongue to see Turtlekit off. That’s what she got for swatting her, hehe!

Happily listening to the meeting, swaying left and right for fun, the kitten really carefully listened when Cindystar said a bunch of cats had come back. Her mama had to be among them, right? But she wasn’t. But that was alright! Vixenkit hummed to herself. Because she would be back really soon!! And then she’ll be able to tell her EVERYTHING that happened!! (although, it wasn't very smart to go missing, huh. But her mama was an exception to that thought. Because she was perfect!!)

The kitten’s grin grew wide at that thought, and she promptly listened to the rest of the meeting.

OHH Fierykit and Snowy were becoming apprentices! And she knew them!! So that meant that they were friends, right? Which then meant that she would be friends with even biggier cats! YAY!!

She was worried that so many had gone missing. She was happy they where back now. She wondered how the kit and warriors had gone missing in the first place. The apprentices might not have known the territory yet, but the kits? Kits shouldn't even be out of camp to get lost or missing in the first place. They had proably snuck out. She had done that once when she was little though, she recalled. It was lucky a warrior had found her before she had gotten lost. How had the warriors gotten missing? Most of the warriors knew the territory. Had they been attacked and ran away thenthey couldn't find thier way back? If that was the case, what had attacked them? Where there dogs? Was Riverclan or Shadowclan invading? Maybe Windclan had decided to attack Thunderclan! Maybe foxes? Badgers? Where twolegs invading? She hopped that the warriors had gotten lost in a storm or a landslide. Anything would be better than being attacked by another clan again.

Lotuspaw was back? How? She had died! Thank Starclan Lotuspaw had come back! She hadn't known Starclan even had the power to send cats back! Why hadn't they sent Thunderclan's old leader back? But if they had, wouldn't they do that for every leader? Would it be good for one cat to reign forever? If the cat was good it would be but still... What was the point of nine lives if theyjust sent every leader back with nine more after they had spent thier last one?

She dipped her head in grief. Snowcloud was a good cat. She had given up her life for Violetkit. She just wished kits wouldn't tryto escape camp. Snowcloud probably would've never died if Violetkit had just stayed in camp. It had been boring being a kit though. Maybe doing more events that kits could participate in would be good so they didn't get bored and sneak out.

She was glad that there was going to be new apprentices. Was it realy right to make Violetkit a apprentice so soon after going missing, probably sneaking out and getting Snowcloud killed though?

With things having calmed down, Acornpaw returned to his spot in the clearing. In the end, the whole ordeal had just made him even more sad. He didn't know how to climb, fight, or even hunt. He rolled up a mossball, tossing it around idly. (Open for any warrior to train me, I really need more training sessions)

Roosterflame, who had been out of camp and wasn’t able to hold witness the craziness, trotted through the entrance, his tail high above him as he walked. Spotting Acornpaw looking all Debby Downer, he padded over, slipping on a smile.
“Why so glum, chum?” He asked, cocking his head to the side, “It’s a beautiful day! Perfect for going out on the territory! Speaking of which, you should be out on the territory, training or something… where’s your mentor?”
He wondered if Acornpaw was one of those many apprentices with half-ass mentors, which would suck, as Roosterflame had dealt with such before, and it always made him frustrated. Perhaps, if Acornpaw was okay with it, he could take him on a little excursion.

Quietkit would be good, with their lack of squealing. But I'm a bit worried about their health. Crowkit is excellent. I wouldn't mind them being named after a loud bird. "

She quietly giggled, then slightly turned. Making sure not to move her kits while they were drinking. Moving her muzzle under their stomachs to check their genders.

" She-cat, She-cat.. and a tom. "

She huffed as she yawned once more. Her thinking speed lowered as all she wanted to do was drift off to sleep. Laying on her side as she breathed heavily.

" Now if you may Thrushfur, let me sleep in peace. I feel really exhausted after kitting. "

She nodded towards Thrushfur before closing her eyes. Waiting for sleep to take over her and set her mind at ease.

He stayed silent listening to Quailfurs comments before astonishment struck his face. He felt like he was being kicked out. So suddenly that made his tail droop when he stood. He obedient listened to her demands to be left alone, wishing he could at-least stay by her side a little longer to watch the kits. Dragging himself towards the nursery exit before turning his head back towards the sleeping queen. She needs her rest, and I’ve gotta tell Sundust about Quietkits condition. Coming out as thin as a worm is no good. His tail raised as his mood got better, walking out of the nursery.

Quietkit lay spread put on her side in her nest, soaking in the sparse rays of sunlight that filtered into the nursery. The tiny, stick thin kit lacked the energy to get up and play like the other kits. Not that playing with other kits was any fun witout her siblings anyways. Only her siblings could understand her, given that none of the other kits in the nursery could understand her signs and gestures.

Flicking the tip of her tail, Quietkit exhaled softly, a stray feather shuddered with the slight breeze, and Quietkit eyed it with vague interest before closing her eyes. She wanted to reach out and grab it, but her paws seemed so heavy… She opened her eyes half way, the world hazy and out of focus since her eyes werent fully open. It looked quite interestinglike this, and Quietkit tried to see if she could correctly make out shapes like this. It was a lot more conveniant than haing to drag herself out of the nest.

(Why hasn't anyone waited for my reply? I went to sleep - here it was 11pm - and the story was continued without Ashpaw. What is he supposed to do now alone in that tree? He climbed up to help Winterkit and he stopped there.)
