Ashflame nodded “Thank you, Cloudspots.” He was greatful for his young clanmate.
Cloudspots glanced at the moss, then back at Ashflame. “Do you need any help fixing up your nest?”

I'm really lucky to have Flamepaw as a friend. he thought. She's smart and cares about her clanmates. I'm sure she'll be a wonderful warrior some day.
He purred at her touch, and let his whiskers twitch with pleasure. Mapleleaf sounded like a good mentor, even if Flamepaw didn't look completely satisfied with her training. Maybe if he could ask Sparrowflight to appoint her as an official mentor..? But he was always busy and it seemed like a difficult opportunity to grab.
Her friend sounded very worried about Darkpetal, but Ashpaw wasn't. He knew his mentor would come back in shape very soon, and would never give up on his apprentice. As soon as he appeared again in the camp, he would go straight to him and update him on everything Ashpaw had learnt in the meantime. He would be proud. "Don't worry, I won't. He is my mentor and I know we will train together again very soon. Just wait." Darkpetal wasn't like the others. He knew his mentor had got attached to him, and was determined to be there when his warrior ceremony came.
Changing subject, he asked: "So... are we going to Sunkissed Creek? I really look forward to see how you can catch minnows." He stretched his fore leg and pretended to swipe at an imaginary piece of prey with his claws unsheathed. "I'm so ready!"
Mudsplash blinked and... suddenly a small kit appeared. They tried to remember the little one's name... Hazelkit, right? Agh, they'd get it right sooner or later.
"A battle move, eh?"They would tilt their head to the side, their tail flicking as they thought. "I suppose it couldn't hurt.. maybe you'll even be named my apprentice. All right, little one. Copy me."
Mudsplash stretched, giving their ear a little twitch. They would crouch down with their belly fur touching the ground, their paws maintaining their weight lightly. Their tail stuck out as they balanced, occasionally lashing.
"Alright. Copy this, little one. When you get it somewhat right, I'll get up and fix whatever you're doing wrong. The trick is to be patient- don't get irritated or agitated for doing something incorrect."

The orange and white tabby she-cat smiled with satisfaction that she was able to improve her friend's mood. It was one of the things she was apparently good at. But that was a good thing! Flamepaw was happy about that, if she could help all her Clanmates feel better, then she would!
"Alright, if you say so!" Flamepaw smiled. She wouldn't tell Ashpaw that Darkpetal would probably never come back. It wasn't her place to do so, Ashpaw would figure it out soon enough. It had been just a tad over a quarter moon when the apprentice last saw Darkpetal in camp. I do hope he's okay... he's a good Clanmate.
Flamepaw erupted in laughter at Ashpaw's playful swipes in the air. Guess he is ready to learn how to catch a minnow! "Alright, Ashpaw, let's go!"
She quickly hopped up and walked out of the den then stopped right outside, "We can go find a warrior to take us to Sunkissed Creek!"

The unexpected confrontation delivers a swift slap to Crocus' face. Ahck. Dung.
"M-my mother," The young tom shudders, "s-she called them that, s-so..." Ducking his head anxiously, the tom seems to almost shrink even further into the ground.
"Ah! My.. My name i-is Crocus! That's what my mother named me." Their yellow-green gaze lifts again to Sparrowflight, almost hopefully. She would tell him her name, and certainly invite him back, at least to help him heal. That's what he was told, anyway.
A low hum rumbles in Sparrowflight's throat as the younger cat explains himself. She would accept his reasonings... for now at least. However, since Crocus had graced her with his name she would do the same.
"A pleasure to meet you Crocus," she states, eyeing his shrinking crouch against the forest floor as the tom meets her gaze. "My name is Sparrowflight, and I am the current leader of Thunderclan."
Taking a seat, the tan molly tilts her head towards the space in front of her and flicks up her tail. If Crocus wished to join her and sit he was welcome to, but perhaps he felt safer pressed against the ground. If this cat truly was in the situation he claimed, Sparrowflight wasn't sure. However, she was not so heartless as to approach this situation claws bared like a certain Shadowclan leader.
"Since you are young, I will state things plainly for you," Sparrowflight hummed, watching the tom all the while. "You have trespassed into Thunderclan territory, so I am obliged to do one of two things; Escort you back to the border and point you home, or... evaluate your worth to my clan. Do you wish to return to your two-legs Crocus?"

The dappled brown and orange tom spoke calmly and indifferently, although inside, he felt just as angry as Sparrowflight looked. Why couldn't she just understand he was trying to do the right thing? So what was it to be? Exile? Exile for being true to himself? Or demotion? Demotion for being noble to a scared, apprentice-aged tom?
"Right then."
This tom really didn't see the problem with this?! If Sparrowflight wasn't so perturbed by Harefire's choices, she would have been visibly baffled. But perturbed she was.
"Since you clearly have not grasped the error of your ways in this particular situation Harefire, I suggest you take some time to reflect on the duties you swore to uphold. Outside of Thunderclan," she stated, biting back the urge to smack some sense into the warrior before her. "If you wish to return after a half moon has passed, come back with a new perspective. Perhaps then you will understand some of why what you did was not acceptable for a warrior of Thunderclan."
With a final frustrated flick of her tail, Sparrowflight gestured back towards the border and would oversee Harefire's movements until he was well beyond Thunderclan's borders.
[ Unfortunately, Harefire has not been re-accepted at this time. Please hold off on making another re-joining attempt until Sept 12th ]
[ Sharppaw was a ThunderClan apprentice when I was still in the website. So I am bringing him back to ThunderClan if that is ok with you]
Sharppaw stood in ThunderClan Territory. He had gone missing for moons. He was over six moons old now, almost the size of a warrior. He had no idea who was leader now. Who is leader? Aspenstar is still alive, right? He walked through the forest and saw another cat. "Hello, ThunderClan cat. I am Sharppaw, a ThunderClan apprentice that went missing for moons. Who are you if I may ask?" He asked, his black fur blowing in the breeze, his yellow eyes locked on the cat.
It seemed like cat after missing cat was popping up these days. Eyes locking onto a slightly familiar black pelt, Sparrowflight approached the younger cat as he made his curious announcement.
"Well Sharppaw, I am Sparrowflight. Thunderclan's current leader," she stated, voice stern as she took in the identity of this cat. If she remembered correctly, they had indeed been missing for several moons now. "Why, stars tell, have you been missing for moons?"
The sand-colored she-cat stood still, ears nervously moving to pick up sounds from all different directions, wary of the slightest sound of change, and when she suddenly noticed paws quickly approaching, she could feel her heart pick up speed. S-should she run? No no, wait, that was- "Sparrowflight-" Her mew came out in a shaky breath as she felt the familiar scent envelop her, along with the sister's head pressing against her shoulder. She tried to force out another sentence, or word at least, but Sparrowflight beat her to it, and Tulippaw couldn't help but let out a chuckle as well as the words, despite the lump forming in her throat. "yeah"
"T- twolegs" She managed to finally get something half-sensible out of her. "I didn't mean to go out, I know Im not supposed to, but I needed to think, but then the twolegs took me, and i tried to leave at first, but i couldn't, and-" her voice died in a breath quickly sucked in as her light green eyes started becoming less and less dry. She knew she held a lot of the blame for going, not all of it, but the twolegs would never have gotten her if she hadn't left, and she could probably have escaped sooner.
After a few heartbeats of breathing normally, she managed to gather herself and turned her head towards Sparrowflight, trying to smile a little more. "How's Thunderclan."How's home? And Brightpaw, and mom. There were so many more questions pressing behind her tongue, but she held them back for the time being.
Two-legs... Stars damn those destructive creatures.
Pulling back from her sister momentarily, Sparrowflight gave her a quick visual once-over to make sure she hadn't been hurt. She couldn't lose another member of her family. Not yet. She would fight the stars themselves if she had to.
"You're right, you shouldn't have been out of camp," she stated, clearing her throat briefly in an attempt to steady her voice and put on a sterner front (whether or not it was successful could probably be debated). "But what matters now is that you're home. I'm sure your experience was harrowing enough to be your punishment for breaking that rule. Mom and Brightpaw are..."
What could she say here? Gone? Wandered off again? Disappeared into the night without so much as a word of farewell?
"Well, I haven't seen them for quite some time," she finally huffed, deflating slightly as the words left her muzzle. "And things have changed quite a bit since you left. Thunderclan is holding it's own once again, Cindersky had taken over as leader for a few moons before..."
Curse this damn lump in her throat. Rapidly blinking back the emotions that threatened to overflow, Sparrowflight cleared her throat again before continuing (with a slightly strained voice).
"Before she was overcome by a badger... And well... I was serving as Cinderstar's deputy so... There's been quite a bit of change."

Seeing Flamepaw's laughing had always made Ashpaw smile. Now that he thought about that, he had never saw how she hunted or fought. It would be his first time sharing a training with her, or with any other apprentice at all. Maybe, one day he could ask Darkpetal and Mapleleaf to work together so they could train like this more often. It felt a shame that they hadn't learnt how to cooperate in a team yet.
"I bet Bumbleflight would be glad to do that. He is always eager to help me, and he'll like you too. We can ask him as soon as we see him." he replied. Did he know the route to Sunkissed Creek? But that was a stupid question, since all warriors have to know really well every paw-step of their clan territory. And I'm just the only one here who doesn't know that... how shameful. He reminded himself once again to put that on his list of top priorities.
[ @SpiritedWarrior Let's just continue on Sunkissed Creek as we were doing! ]
