Fallownose let out an annoyed frown as time passed, and Honeypaw never completed the punishment. Seriously?! It wasn't that hard! "Honeypaw, since you decided not to complete the punishment, you are exiled for a quarter moon. Come back no sooner than that, and don't bother coming back at all if you're not going to take your duties seriously."
@Peachy Wolf27 [Honeypaw is exiled for 7 days in real life and will need 3 posts in the Outskirts before she is allowed to rejoin WindClan]
Oh no, I forgot all about that! “I’m sorry, Fallow’Nose.. I will take my time in exile to think about way I can be better to my Clan.”
Snowypaw blinked once. Then another time. A couple of more silent blinks passed by without him noticing as he gave Fawnpaw a look that was equal parts curiosity and confusion. The brown furred apprentice certainly had a unique way of looking at things, he was sure of that much. After analyzing what she had just said the gentle giant couldn't help the purr of amusement that escaped him, slowly turning into a soft bout of laughter.
Controlling his chuckles, afraid of seeming rude, Snowypaw shook his head, his whiskers betraying his attempts at a calmer, more serious look on his face as he turned to face Fawnpaw once more. "That is certainly one way to look at it. I'm afraid my way was nowhere nearly that interesting," the gentle giant began, his paws shifting as he felt his nerves flutter up. He wasn't one to openly talk such confrontational topics, especially when he felt his opinion on most matters was unnecessary in the best of times and unwanted in all others. Fawnpaw, however, seemed to relish on these chats. She had stated as much, so the patched tom assumed it would be ruder to simply refuse to socialize and share in such a situation.
Wrapping his feathery tail neatly to hide his twitching toes, Snowypaw continued. "I was thinking in simpler terms. The clan together is stronger than a single loner, and because of that, we sometimes forget that loner is no different than a single clan cat. True, the loner lives alone and without our structure, but strip away our codes and our homes, and we are all just cats with different thoughts, feelings, likes, and dislikes. I think we forget that sometimes. We get so caught up in thinking of the clan, we forget it isn't always about how the clan is doing, but about how Fawnpaw is doing," he mewed, purring a bit at his little joke as he took one massive paw and landed it on Fawnpaw's nose, returning her earlier gesture with a laugh.
Normally such an action would not have been possible for him with a cat he knew so little of, but Fawnpaw had technically done this before, so he assumed it was an acceptable move on his part. Adding to that was the irrevocable fact that his friendships with different cats in the clan - Deadmoon, Specklepaw, Stonecrackle, and perhaps most importantly as of late, Berrypaw - had had a positive impact on the once anxiety riddled mess that he was. True, he still got stressed and nervous over offending or angering others, but it was no longer due to fear of being lashed out at. Instead, his feelings on the matter had slowly been changing into a genuine concern for making others uncomfortable, preferring not to impose too much on his clanmates and friends. Fawnpaw, however, he doubted he could offend with such a teasing gesture, certain the molly had a good sense of humor based on the small conversation they'd had so far. Well, he was mostly sure. About half certain. Almost entirely confident that she would not be offended by his touching her nose. Oh StarClan... perhaps he should apologize...
The dappled molly's eyes widened in surprise for a moment at the gesture before cracking up in laughter. "See~ We're already bonding! And~ You are getting more confident!" She said, returning the gesture with an extra giggle at his joke.

In the moments just before he landed he tasted Cloverpaws fear scent, and watched his small white shape scramble away in a flash. As the tan warriors long forepaws hit the earth he felt surprise run through him and was not immediately sure how to handle the situation. He ran away? Wasn't expecting that, the tom cocked his head to one side as looked back at his apprentice processing his own emotions. His green eyes darted over to his training partner Floatingleaf in an almost uncatchable display of embarrassment. Cloverpaw may have been nervous but in their previous sessions hunting he had watched his apprentice harness those nerves and overcome any obstacles that were in his way. After a few moments passed the young mentor managed to wipe the look of confusion from his face, he did not want to hurt Cloverpaws pride with his expression. After all it was perfectly reasonable for a first timer to become frightened even in a mock battle.
Perhaps I overdid it a bit. He straightened himself up and turned back to face his charge fully. "Well you got the duck part down he," he jabbed lightly. "You're more than halfway there." He smiled kindly as he spoke the softly rasped teasing words. "Don't worry, this is why we are training. It's so you can experience what its like to be in a battle, train hard enough and your body will start to react correctly on its own." The tom hoped his words and demeanor offered some confidence and comfort. If StarClan had allowed a softy like himself to master the skills needed to be a warrior, then surely Cloverpaw had the capability to become one.
Either way he refused to treat the young cat with the same callous attitude his own mentor had treated him with.
@Silvershadow13
They doubted they had ever been this excited to see Twilightstar, it had been a long time, too long. "Brightdawn, you've returned."
"I have, though under much less fortunate stances than I anticipated." They greeted, sorrow evident in their tone. "I suppose an explanation to my absence is required."
They couldn't help but to let out a sigh, oh how to begin?. At this point they were beginning to regret all the decisions they had made in the last few moons.
"My goal was a noble one." The lynx-point began. "As you've obviously noticed, our clanmates have been disappearing very frequently. Many of which, have been very close to me. I found myself left without any ties in the clan, and with it being green-leaf, I assume my absence didn't hinder the success of the clan." It was at this point tears began to well in their usually bright eyes, though their presence didn't effect their explanation.
"So I left, with the hope I would find at least a few windclanners. And I traveled far, I knew someone had to be out there. But as you see, I was unsuccessful in my search." They quickly swallowed the lump growing in their throat. "I found myself having to return, looking much less heroic. But leaf-bare is approaching, and I hope to be able to serve my clan throughout it."
They sat down, tearful eyes looking up expectantly at the molly. "I ask you to please consider my previous performance, I can catch much more than my fair share of prey in a day, and my battle skills have increased exponentially since the battle at Sky Glade."

The greeting held so much weight and sorrow, it made the leader want to reassure the cat but until she knew why they had left she pushed her sympathy aside. Brightdawn always seemed like a rather responsible warrior to her, she assumed that their reasoning or going missing was more than just getting lost. Still, Twilightstar kept her maw shut and lifted her ears to listen as the cat told her story, unfortunately, it was a story that Twilightstar has heard more the once.
The tragic tale of setting off in search of their missing and returning with nothing to show for it. Brightdawn showed such great remorse for their actions which is the only reason Twilightstar's words came out softer than intended. "You've always served WindClan loyalty, Brightdawn. You are also not the first that has walked away from WindClan in search of those who have gone missing. Even though the cause is just and noble, you disregard your warrior oath to serve WindClan by walking away from your clan." It was clear Brightdawn regretted the decision to some point which is not exactly what Twilightstar wanted but at the same time...
Losing clanmates was terrible, but at the end of the day, the clan still needed to function, hunting, prey, and training, if the clan stopped to search for every cat that disappeared nothing would get done. "I've found that the missing have a way of returning to us if they truly want to one way or another. Remember that the next time you feel the urge to go off and look for them. Dry your tears and let's return home."
[Done, sorry it took so long!]

Well, it seemed that another lost cat had found their way back home. "Wildstep," The WindClan leader greeted the big golden and white tom as he stepped into her line of view. "Where've you been?" He didn't look injured anywhere.

After getting back to the land of the living, Maplepaw had been quite set on never returning to ShadowClan. Sure, he could have reunited with this old mentor, Nightlight, but was living under Dawnstar’s rule worth it? No. Setting one paw after another down on the grass, the land opened up to the moors: the home of WindClan.
WindClan had lived under stable leadership for longer than Dawnstar had been leader, which is part of the reason why he wanted to join them. But the other reason? Well, let’s just say he did not want to turn out to be violent at all times like his old Clanmates. New life, hopefully a new home.
“Excuse me, is anyone out here?” He lifted his scrunched face up in the air, trying to see if he could smell anyone. But the unfortunate part about this was that he’s never had an interaction with Clans other than ShadowClan. “I, uh… I want to talk to someone about joining!”
Sighing softly, Twilightstar padded down the hill she had been seated on overlooking the territory, and began making her way over to the cat who had crossed into WindClan's territory.
"He was being rather loud, if I was hunting he'd get a good clawing for scaring off the prey." She muttered to herself as the small silhouette of the cat grew in size the closer she moved. After reaching about four tail lengths from the tom, she noticed how young the cat and she could pick up a scent on him but it was a bit muddled, and hard to place. "You're lucky you summoned me and not hunting patrol. Our prey scares especially easy here and you most likely chased off quite a few rabbits yowling like that." Had she seen him before?
Clan? One would think that cats with actual clan training and knowledge of their customs and ways would know to wait at the border rather than walk straight into another clan's territory. It made her wonder about some of the clans when former or current members just ignored the borders like that. Unless they were looking for a fight of course.
the tortoiseshell can practically feel her heart slowly drop to her stomach as she steps across the windclan moors. dread swallows her whole, anxiety wraps around her. flaredust knows she has nothing to fear exactly, but it feels.. scary, walking back into her home after being gone for, what, three moons. a fear of the unknown, she decides. so much could have changed in those three moons. for all she knows, there could be a new leader or deputy or medicine cat. or--
she comes to a stop, standing stiffly (looking a bit awkward in all honesty). or maybe nothing changed at all, flaredust thinks. the idea helps soothe her nerves.
There was a tortie cat making hesitant steps into WindClan's territory. The one-eyed lilac feline cocked her head as she watched her from an old rabbit trail for a moment. She reeked of fear and Twilightstar wondered has she hadn't attracted any predators to her smelling like that. Maybe it was nerves? Twilightstar slide out of the rabbit trail and shook out her pelt following the cat while trying to recall the pelt from the back. The name was on the tip of her tongue, no one could yowl at Twilightstar for not getting her recalling. So many cats come and go and then come back, smelling or looking different.
"Ah, Flaredust." Twilightstar as the name finally came to her. She picked up her pace, padding up from behind the she-cat, probably a little more quietly than she should have. She hasn't seen the molly in over two moons no wonder she couldn't place the name right away.
The warrior came further into the den then sat down listening to what to leader had spoken her fur stuck up" well somtimes he asks me who i am and it bothers me but when he was talking with snowypaw in the clearing saying that he is having trust issue thats when i was on my edge and came to you it feels like he is ignoring me or something and he seems to be more distant like he is always in the back of the apprentice den when i was an apprentice and it bothered me" the molly replied in a worried voice

Well, nothing Lilyheart said sounded overly concerning. It seemed like Lilyheart was taking Scalepaw's memory loss rather personally. It must hurt not being remembered, but it's not like Scalepaw was doing it on purpose. "Well, you need to remember that he doesn't remember you. Everything is probably pretty new to him, it makes sense to me for him to be rather distant and distrustful of his surroundings. It going to take time, patience, and understanding if you hope to rebuild the relationship you once had with him. His memories may return to him one day, or maybe they won't at all. You'll just have to make new memories with him. But I don't think you should take anything he's doing as a personal slight or insult to you. He can't help what he lost."

It's a good thing they're leaving us alone, but if they're having difficulties in their territory, I'm unsure how long that will last. I figured you'd want to know about this so as not to be taken off guard if something changes over there, but I'll ensure the patrols I send check it for any activity."
The deputy found it concerning that ShadowClan hadn't been marking their borders. Knowing Dawnstar, if she got wind that her warriors weren't doing something, they would get shredded, but considering it had been three moons, that meant ShadowClan was having some issues. Fallownose wasn't highly concerned about it since ShadowClan had shown up at the last two Gatherings and didn't look all that worse, but if something was wrong, then who knew how long the neutrality with them would last? If Dawnstar lost territory to the twolegs she had mentioned, she could very well turn her gaze to WindClan to replace it. Hopefully, though, it was just a mere issue of her warriors slacking off since she couldn't very well kill off her whole Clan. Or she could... Who really knew with Dawnstar anyways?
Oh! Three moons without marking the border? That is surprising, especially with how she's seen Dawnstar run her clan. The sloppiness isn't like her. Not that Twilightstar had any thoughts of saying anything of the sort to the ShadowClan leader, but it did make her wonder what was going on with ShadowClan. As Fallownose continued, she found herself agreeing with his thought process. If things weren't running smoothly in ShadowClan, it would only be a matter of time before the crazy cat turns her claws to the other clans. Even though she was hoping the moly was a she-cat of her word, it shouldn't be shocking if ShadowClan started turning their claws to WindClan again.
Dawnstar was too prideful to let slip if ShadowClan was in some sort of crisis, perhaps the trouble with the twolegs was far worse than she had let on? "That's completely unlike her, either she has something bigger on her paws to deal with than the borders, or someone in her clan is slacking. Either way, I suppose speculating will get me nowhere. Thank you for informing me, and I'm sure you'll let me know if there are any changes." She meowed gratefully for the update. It was probably nothing, but it could be something. Lovely, more food for her thoughts. If she could get away with her pelt intact and no repercussions maybe she might lightly prob the deranged leader on the state of her clan at the next gathering, or not. She gave Fallownose a dismissive nod of her head, unless he had anything else to add he could go.

Vulturekit padded into the larger den. Eyes adjusting to the darker room slowly. Was she still sleeping? They were gonna find out. “Twilightstar,Its Morning! It’s Time To Wake Up. Mommy told me not to go in here so don’t tell her, okay Sleepy?” Had To Add That,Phew. Hopefully Twilightstar wouldn’t tell, that would be mean. Very super duper mean! Vulturekit giggled lightly as they spoke. They lightly poked the air,not being able to fully see in the den since it was still a bit dark out. @Moonraven

Baby! Not what Twilightstar was expecting to walk up to but she'd take it. The WindClan leader parted her lids and blinked as Vulturekit's tiny frame slowly came into sight. She yawned, standing up in her nest and arching her back as Vulturekit giggled at something they found funny. "You know, I can still sleep even if it's daylight. It's called napping." Twilightstar told the kit as she went back to laying down in her warm nest, keeping her head off her paws as spoke to Vulturekit. "What are you doing in here, Vulturekit?" She chuckled quietly as the kit began to attempt to poke at the beam of light streaming into the den through the entrance.
