Zero wiped the tears from her cheeks quickly and looked up at the man who had entered the room. She looked suspiciously at the axe, and then back to the man's face. She slowly nodded when he said she must be Zero. The girl didn't take Kane's hand. "Ok..." Zero whispered, and then looked back at Ciara's body.

Kane shrugged when Zero didn't take his hand and sat on the other side of the bed, taking Ciara's only hand. She didn't react. "I really hope she'll be ok. Hey, I know a way you can see her. Here, take this." The man stood up, walked to Zero, and handed her a small blue star-shaped sapphire. It glowed faintly. "Press it against your forehead when you sleep and think about someone, anyone. And, if they are asleep, you will be transported to their dreams. If it's a nightmare, they mostly can't hear you. If they are in a shallow sleep, you'll see whats around them in real-time." Kane explained.

Zero shifted in her seat when Kane took Ciara's hand. She watched him skeptically when he handed her a blue sapphire. "Demons can already do that. Idiot." She shifted again, and moved so she could look out the window.

"I think people left that out of training just to torture the hell out of their trainers, don't you think? Sorry, I'll just be quite and not talk to you."

*He sat back down in his seat across from Zero, looking at his phone*
