Doepaw snorted at the medicine cats attempt to reassure her. She definitely felt useless, couldn't even train. She sighed and put her back down as the black-and-white tom said there wasn't much to reorganise. That was disappointing, but it's okay. But her head perked back up at the mention of.. a story? She thought for a moment before deciding on a story.
"So, uh, my Mama told me this one, way back when in the nursery. It's about a queen who haunts a specific nest, if you wanna hear it?"

Do you mind answering a few questions, such as your name, where you came from, and where your kin is?" The molly questioned the young kit. Although she was glad to hear that Ashclaw had found the young one, not in danger, Twilightstar would like to not a little more before offering him a place among them.

Ah, kits, sometimes it was nice to listen to them chatter about the strangest of things, more often than not it was nonsense, but stuck with the constant duties and task of leading a clan, Twilightstar didn't mind listening to nonsense here and there. What is a nap? Um, kits also asked a range of questions that Twilightstar never thought about the to answer to. She knew what a nap was, however, wasn't certain of the words to explain it.
"Hmm, naps are similar to when you sleep at night but instead you do it during the day when you are tired and you don't sleep as long as when you do at night. Haven't you felt tired during the day and gone to lie down? Or seen one of the queens do it?" Twilightstar explained with a lazy swish of her tail.
"So you came just to wake me, how sweet of you. If you see any more napping monster kitties in the camp, I'd be careful about waking some of them, they could wake up grumpy." She warned the little one. She doubted most cats would get upset with a kit, but there are some she could see scolding Vulturekit for the wake-up call.

Honestly, she'd probably just be happy sleeping in the warriors' den again. One would think after sleeping alone for two winters she'd get used to it, but nope. She'd never understood why the leaders slept alone, especially in leaf-fall and leaf-bare. If didn't feel so bad about leaving her den empty she'd go and sleep with the apprentices or warriors at night. Not to say that her den was bad, it was certainly less drafty compared to the other dens, but with only a single cat inside the cold was hard to fend off.
As a soft shiver ran through her body, the leader parted her single eye and gave up on trying to sleep. She ends up staring at the wall of her den, she was sure in time that her consciousness would drift off despite the chill eventually. She wondered if she asked Leechscar and Dreamlight if would they come and stay in her den at least on the colder nights. Her full ear twisted in the direction of the entrance as she heard the tiny paws coming toward her den.
Her green eye made out the sight of a small form of a kit, that darted straight into her den and right into her nest. Twilightstar blinked her single eye as sight adjusted to the darkness. White paws and blue eyes, Nettlekit, one of WindClan's newest additions to the nursery. "What an adorable little intruder." Twilightstar huffed, shifting to lie on her side and uncurling her tail from her slender body so she could wrap it around the small kit and draw the little one closer to her flank and underbelly.
"You're chilly." The leader chuckled while wrapping her tail around the little one to keep her as warm as possible. "So, what brings here you here, little one? Isn't warmer in the nursery with your siblings and the queen?" Twilightstar's den was a bit of a walk for one so young, it was too cold for kits to be roaming at night.
[I figure it was something like that, I've had kits running around call her mama. I find it absolutely adorable, and I personally see her as the mother of WindClan. So it works, I love that Fallow is the daddy. ]

The scarred she-cat was lapping over an old belly wound that was bothering her due to the cold. One of the many gifts left from Dawnstar, still this scar was not all bad without it she doubted she would have noticed Cowpaw's potential. She finished lapping over the pale pink scar and turned her head so that her eye was facing the opening in her den. Her ears twitched as the paw steps drew closer. A cream and tawny she-cat poked her head into the den, Twilightstar eye was naturally drawn to the feline's belly as she stepped inside. "Mothflight." She nodded to the queen, beckoning her further into the den so they could talk. "Something you need?"

Fallownose frowned, glancing towards the warrior for an answer. "Whether or not it was reported, no prey was placed on the pile for you two. That means both of you need to catch two pieces of prey. And Wolffeather, you will be demoted to Wolfpaw for a quarter moon."
Twistedkit staggered into the nursery. The world spun and tilted around her, and her tail - her horribly broken, crooked, twisted tail - didn't help. She lurched from side to side like a twig in a raging river, not entirely sure how she hadn't already capsized. It was hard to focus or think; her mother's harsh blows to her head combined with the events that had just unfolded made everything blur around her. There were only her thoughts and emotions to accompany her. VILE. MONSTER. MURDERER. At last, everything made sense. Willowsky hated her because she was horrible. She was different and horrid and a killer. Silverkit had died because of her. Palecloud had left and been led to his demise because of her. Willowsky was sad and mad and in trouble because of her. Twistedkit collapsed into a mossy green nest and let out choking sobs, her entire body wracking with them. She felt drained and weak, yet emotions of sadness, grief, horror, and horrible understanding roiled within her.
I'm horrible. Really horrible. But how had Twistedkit ended up so horrible? It might be because of what I look like. Twilightstar had wondered if that was why Willowsky was so mad. And the more Twistedkit thought of it, the more true it seemed. No other kits were born with crooked jaws or blind eyes or mangled tails. It was only her. And Ashfeather, who others seemed to talk nicely about. But she was a different cat. I'm bad. Whoever she was, she must've been good in other ways. She didn't kill her brother or father. Something was wrong with Twistedkit, and she wondered if she would ever be able to be good or if she would always be horrible and naughty.

Brightkit looked up from her nest. Someone seemed to be stumbling into the Nursery. She sniffed the air, and a strong scent of Twistedkit wafted towards her. Arrow nodded, his tail flicking back and forth. "My name is Arrow. And I only had my momma, but a fox got her.." the kit seems to sag with sadness.
Nettlebloom sat beside Mistpaw as they shared a skinny rabbit. her kits were coming soon, Leafbare was nearing so her kits were most likely gonna be born in leaf-bare. "You've got in the moon again" Mistpaw growled grumpily as always and Nettlebloom stared at her former apprentice. "i'm thinking about my kits" Nettlebloom growled back. "OH YEAH, "YOUR KITS" " She hissed aggresively "Whos even the father of your so called kits" Mistpaw looked down and started eating the rabbit. " its not my fault i am expecting kits and cant train you" Nettlebloom hissed and Mistpaw got up and left
Ashclaw listened to the 2 talk then nudging the kit a smile came upon him to make the kit feel better" im sure your mother was a great cat in the forest" the tom said trying to make the kit feel better" those stinkin little fox i'll make sure i won't see a single fox in the territory" the tom said to himself very quietly to himself not wanting the 2 other cats to hear him

Quietkit watched Moorkit as her words tumbled awkwardly from her mouth. The little gray tomkit wasn't sure he knew what to say but managed a "T-thank you," in between her monologue. He chuckled a little as she covered her face with her white paws, feeling slightly bewildered by her actions. Her frazzled energy leaked into him, and as she ran over to her nest he padded over tepidly in her direction. She was turned away from him as he asked"Why'd you run away? His shyness was apparent, but it had lost out to his curiosity. He pulled a paw back towards his tiny gray striped body feeling self conscious, "I'm not bothering you am I?
"What!?" she said worried "No!, you're not bothering me at all, I feel like it's me who's bothering you!." She said her ears drooping, while still having her back turned to Quietkit "I always talk without thinking." She said angrily "And I hate myself for it" She said sadden "Maybe I should just not talk." She started to cry.
