A smile crossed her face at the beauty of the frozen landscape, until she felt a whisper if freezing wind trickle through her own thick fur and chill her skin. She shivered slightly, still glad for her long, insulating pelt, that kept out all but the worst of winter gales. "Very cold indeed. You wouldn't believe what I did the other day out in the territory. I was walking on the ice, it broke under my paw! Just one, and I was able to get it out, but my fur and toes were froze silly! It was fine after I cleaned the ice out, but I couldn't move my paw until then! I guess I should just be more careful on the river- it's hard to tell where the ice is frozen through," the she-cat recounted, her tone light as she made fun of herself, the event having been easily dealt with, despite the fact that it could've gone south quickly.

"You really should be more careful around the river, fall under the ice and you'll arrive in StarClan in no time." Blackgaze said with genuine care in her voice. The dark colored she-cat shifted awkwardly at the mention of the river, not really liking the moving currents in the territory. She always tried to stay away, knowing her blindness could cause an unwanted, freezing, struggling, plunge into the depth of the water. "I try to stay away from the river at most, it could be easy for a quick and accidental trip to StarClan from there." She stated with a soft huff. Her blank gaze turned towards Cloversplash, giving the other warrior her full attention as her head was pointed in the direction of the molly she was taking with. She had a small smile on her muzzle, that never fading through the conversation.

Swishing her tail and shifting position on the frozen ground once more, a small smile crossed the molly's maw; she was warming up quickly to the blind feline, her personality enjoyable and her commentary light and natural. The back and forth banter was something she rarely experienced anymore, courtesy of Greencough. It had killed several of her family, and friends, in the last winter that Marshsnow had been medicine cat. Lack of resources in the months of cold and ice had been it hard to keep up with the surge of sick cats, and many had fallen prey to the illness as it had swept through the camp. So this was very welcome, even if was just friendly conversation with the clan deputy. "Ah, I know I should have been more cautious. The ice is thin in places and we all learn that in our first Leafbare, to be careful when we go out on the river. I guess as you get older and more confident we get cocky too. It's always nice to have a reminder," she replied, placidly, her tone slightly more reminiscent as she spoke of the past in a vague manner. "Of course, that's never an excuse to sink yourself in the river,"she said, her voice colored with humor, her features also displaying this expression.

Blackgaze gave a soft chuckle at Cloversplash's humored voice, sighing a bit after. She already liked talking to the other warrior, finding the soft pace of their back to back conversation a nice break from the chaos that has happened much too recently. "I guess it's easier to be around the river when you can see it though, as its easier to tell if you're about to step into the currents or not." she said with a soft chuckle, not caring that her blindness stopped her from doing most things other RiverClanners and just other cats in general could do. Not being able to see hasn't stopped her from getting where she has now and it wouldn't stop her in the future.

A soft laugh was elicted from her at that, the joke thankfully not falling flat on her ears. She was glad that Blackgaze, despite her visual handicap, was able to make light of her situation, even if it was something that affected her. Her smile grew larger and took on a bit of an amused edge, the friendly jokes another welcome reprieve. Her tail twitched slightly, to wrap around her chilly paws, exposed to the air and ground. She turned her attention back to the deputy, her bright green eyes glimmering with amusement. "At least you don't have to see all the ugly toms- and she-cats. I think it'd be better not to see them,"she mewed, teasingly, hoping it wasn't borderline insulting.

Webclaw smiled, taking in her wonder of the world, wanting to have just a bit of it for his own. He had been excited for his first venture into the territory, but he had never been this excited. He was beginning to love his experience as a mentor. "Yes, when the air becomes extremely cold, and a thick layer of snow covers the ground during leaf bare, it is common for it to freeze over. It's one of the best times though. If it freezes well enough, it's able to support a fully grown warrior. Then we go out on the ice and goof off. The only cat who doesn't like the Frozen river is Geckoleaf. Too many cats slip and sprain a paw, leaving the medicine den busy and overflowing." He said with a chuckle. He placed his tail on his apprentice, letting his dark gray furred tail draw across her shoulders as he guided her into the territory.
(To ze territory!!)

Blackgaze gave an amused snort at Cloversplash's teasing joke, her shoulders shaking with a silent laugh. "I bet they're all pretty though. Heh, I like to think everyone is." she said as she allowed her tail to curl tighter around her paws, flicking some snow off her ears. She won't ever see anything or anyone but that just makes her believe that all those things she'll never see are just more beautiful, especially colors. Others have tried to explain colors to her and she believes the concept is silly but would love to see them someday, even though it wont happen.

Re: RiverClan Clearing
A small she-cat with a lovely dappled ginger coat wandered into the clearing. Her name was Gingerfur. She had been a warrior for about a moon now. Though she recognized the other cats of her Clan, she had never really gotten to know any one of them. She'd never really bothered. But today she was "Hello!" she meowed to the nearest cat. "I'm Gingerfur." Then, she realized the cat probably knew her name. She awaited the response.

(Just saw this xD)
"Of course not. It's not your fault," Pebblestep began. "But you don't think it was wrong of me to be disloyal like that?" She questioned.
