Tidekit didn’t even blink, taking the news in stride as she did everything else. “That’s okay, we can find something to play.” She plopped herself into the snow next to her new friend. “I’m Tidekit, by the way… I know! Let’s play hide and seek!” Yes, hide and seek was the perfect game for the two of them to play!

Sorreldust paid not mind to the look little Pebblepaw gave her. However she felt about her, she wasn't concerned as long as it wouldn't get in the way of their ability to work through Pebblepaw's training. She wouldn't let her opinions get in the way of fulfilling her new duties she'd been given, no matter how annoying the apprentice might be in the future.
She hummed, the slightest bit of understanding showing on her face when the white pawed apprentice complained about having no training. A clean slate, despite having a mentor before. "Well, we can leave as soon as you wish. My days are free anytime you wish to train."
Sorreldust blinked in surprise as her apprentice spoke of tricks she could do. Ah, yes, the elusive tail. A highly coveted catch every kitten dreamed of one day conquering. At least until they grew up, from her own experience with herself and with her own kits.
However, a pawstand? OH!
She nearly jumped when Pebblepaw launched her hindquarters into the air and out of instinct, she leaped to her and tried to catch the apprentice before she could hit the ground.
The little monster burst into a puddle of giggles at her failed trick. Well not at her failed trick exactly, but how it affected her new mentor. Instead of letting the small demon flopping onto the ground, she instead found herself smacking into a larger body. Sorreldust tried to save me! She thought giddily, scrambling off of the warrior to continue laughing at their little fiasco. "I pwomise I'm waaaay better at it, next time you won't have to catch me!"
With a quick shake to her black and white pelt, Pebblepaw finally let the giggles cease. "Alrighty! I'm ready to train when you are, dunce!" would Sorreldust be impressed by the big girl word she'd learned from her friends? (Whatever it meant?) Pebblepaw was eager to impress her with all of her cool tricks and catchy phrases!
Sorreldust hadn't really thought about how heavy an apprentice that threw herself into the air might be, so it was safe to say she hadn't been expecting just how hard Pebblepaw crashed into her. The air was knocking out of her and she stumbled, but otherwise managed to avoid collapsing under the force.
She might need to start strength exercises if this was an expected regular occurrence, despite the assurance it wouldn't be necessary..... well, she wasn't taking any chances. She'd like as few visits to Sundust as was in her power.
She let the black and white pelted apprentice crawl off of her, keeping her stance still until she was confident she would accidentally knock the young she-cat over. "It is an interesting trick, but I'd rather be able to catch you in case you need it. We don't want any visits to the Medicine Den before we get into the real training, do we?"
She hoped to appeal to the younger cats eagerness to get out of camp as a way to get her to try less risky maneuvers and "tricks".
Sorreldust raised an eyebrow at being called a 'dunce', cocking her head slightly. Where, she had to wonder, did Pebblepaw learn that word? "That is a..... curious word choice."
She'd have to talk to her about it later.... for now, she'd let it slide. "I don't recommend saying it around anyone else for now, alright?"
She'd hate to have to tackle a warrior or apprentice because they felt hurt by Pebblepaw's words and took great enough offense to yell at or attack her. She knew how dramatic some of their clanmates could be. "We'll slip away as soon as the meeting concludes. Is that alright with you?"
Blazekit wiggled his nose as he was distracted by the warriors tail a tickle under his nose made him giggle while giggling for awhile the the molly talked to stormpaw the tom moved his paws as if walking on air while being set down the tom tumbled down, not knowing what the warrior is saying he rolled around in front of the warrior
Stormpaw listened to the warrior hearing she's got everything the tom turned to the apprentice den seeing the warrior nudge encouraging him to go and rest the tom nodded" alright have fun with blazekit" he meowed limping off while his tail dragged the ground since it hurt
At once, it clicked for Sorreldust that Blazekit was blind, with the way he didn't react to her until she tickled his nose. She rested her tail on the ground beside the older kit, watching him roll about. She didn't flinch when the kit inevitably rolled over where her tail was, honestly just trying to think of a way to communicate with the kit.
She'd heard around camp that little Blazekit was deaf, so finding a way to speak to him would be..... very tough not that the easiest methods of communication weren't available to her. Her brows furrowed as she thought.
As an expirament, she thwarted her tail against the ground, hoping the vibrations would catch the little one's attention. She didn't really know what she'd do if he did or didn't respond to the motion, but she hoped to establish some sort of ability to catch his attention.

The blue and grey warrior had been sitting peacefully outside the nursery, tail curled over her paws and mist-colored gaze following the birds flying above while she listened to Sootfur talk. They had agreed to spilt that lesson into two parts since it was mandatory for kits and therefore they had quite a large group to teach. Mistylight would have loved to be inside the nursery herself, but it was already packed so she had instead settled outside of it, but rose up and dipped her head to Sootfur as the other warrior left. Time for her part then.
"Ok, kits, let's continue! The next point we'll touch on is how to handle meeting outsiders on our terriotry-" she paused as something in the corner of her eye caught her attention. Oh, more kits? "You guys are welcome to jump in now if you want." She offered with a warm smile before continuing.
"Now when you're kits you won't be leaving the camp but once you're apprentices you might go out with your mentors or a patrol, and stumble upon a rogue or kittypet on our land. What do you think you should do in that case?" It would be a good idea to involve the kits a little more by asking them questions, asking about their thoughts, and opening the doors for any questions they might have. They would likely learn this better this way than just sitting and listening to her talking.
[Reminder that everyone who participates will need at least one post between Misty's posts to react or ask questions. All the new kits who join can learn the other two points later to complete their lesson]
1. How to behave at gatherings
2. How to behave at a meeting already covered this lesson
3. How to handle meetings with an outsider/intruder
4. How patrols should be executed (marking the border, meeting other clan cats during a patrol, and reporting)
5. How to behave around camp (not running around and making a mess and running around, which dens to are and aren't allowed to enter, keeping the camp clean)
6. How kits and apprentices aren't allowed to leave the camp/go outside alone, and how to go about being outside as an apprentice (asking a warrior, not running off, possible punishments, and so on)
Tidekit hadn't realized she was in the middle of a lesson until it was too late; she was already directly in front of Mistylight! The small tortoiseshell squeaked and was about to bolt, until she heard the older she-cat invite her to the lesson. Was this my lesson? Maybe I was supposed to be here already… Whatever, it clearly didn’t matter now. It was time to learn! The little kit plopped herself down right where she stood and wrapped her tail around her little paws, eagerly glaring up at the warrior before her.
When Mistylight asked her question, Tidekit leapt to her feet, nearly forgetting there were other kits here to learn too. “Ooh I know I know!! You scare them away!” Just the thought of some unknown cat on her territory had the little kitten bristling. ”Is that right, Mistylight?”

Fallenstep yawns, but when he hears his name his spine stiffens. Bloody hell! That ruins everything! he thinks to himself in anger as the large black-furred tom glances around in slight anger. Who would be ruining the next few moons now...? He thinks to himself as he lets out a soft hiss, his tail lashing behind him. Seeing an apprentice looking at him, he bares his teeth at the cretin.
