It seemed their latees finally decided to show their faces too. Except for Sleepywolf, but he hadn't seen the feline's face all day - or even since the patrol was sent out. Strange. But he set the realisation aside with a huff, turning to Pondheart who he dismissed with a nod, followed by Raccoonear. Before he could dismiss her too, she spoke up with some... News. Which left him a little taken aback. Still, he understood, in a manner of speaking. He wasn't going to stop her. With pursed lips he nodded in understanding, silently wishing the shield well.

Those were the late reporters, now came the late completers - though still before the end of the day. At least, one of them. Whitesnake was first to arrive, with a decent catch. He nodded, dismissing her first. Then... Darktwist. He left awfully late. Even when he returned, Gingerfrost couldn't help feel a little irritated, huffing in resonse. "Hardly. You left well after punishments were due. Don't think that's pushing it a little bit? I expect you'll be punctual next time. Go. This won't fly again."
..At least it was done now. That's one step in the right direction... Sort of. Anyway, he wasn't going to bother with this again until the next batch of punishments (lest, by some wonderful miracle, there would be no next one).

Sedgestorm padded back into camp. His patrol had been.... somewhat of a success!
Mistcloud had gotten some tansy leaves, he'd picked some marigold, and Minnowpaw..... had a pawful of knowledge! Hrmmm... he couldn't remember if the apprentice had managed to collect something before they'd left Cattail Pond.
He padded over to Stonepaw and presented his find. "I've got some marigold! And Mistcloud has tansy. Minnowpaw should be here soon as well."

With the prey pile getting low, Beansprout knew it was time to send out some hunting patrols. He shook out his fuzzy pelt before scanning the camp for cats to put on these patrols.
"Ferretsnap [ @lio ], take Goatsneeze - er, my mistake. Take Pondheart [ @Marksman ] and Glisteningpaw [ @Toya Todoroki ] hunting at Cattail Pond. Hopefully, you should be able to catch plenty of fish there."

"Wormbite [ @x ghostie ], I need you to take Spirittail [ @MORBID ] and Foampaw [ @Starfall ] to the main territory to hunt."

"Icefury [ @Jester ]! Please take Snowleap [ @Captain ] and Cicadapaw [ @perseus. ] to Sedgewater Valley. Your primary purpose is to hunt, but make sure the border is alright."

Hunting patrols are required to make a post here of their character putting their prey on the prey pile before the patrol is reported. Failure to do so may result in punishment.
Apprentices:
If none of the warriors on your patrol show up after four days have passed, please make a post explaining so to Beansprout.

Rainglow straightened himself up at the sound of his name being called. He looked up at his clanmate who was calling the patrols, Beansprout, and waited for the cat to approach him with the other patrol members.

His tall ears would perk up at the sound of his own name being called, and the dark-furred oriental would silently pad over to the bustling clowder of cats as clanmates began to group-up with their assigned patrol members. He'd been paired with Icyfury, Sedgestorm and Cicadapaw. A patrol for Sedgewater Valley, which mainly was for hunting, but checking the border while they were there wouldn’t hurt. Okay, that didn’t sound too hard to get done. Snowleap was inclined to stay standing, and waited patiently for any cats to show, hoping this wasn't a patrol he'd have to do alone. It was nice to be a warrior again.

Returning to camp with the salmon between his jaws, Icefury's ears perked up at the sound of his name. Hm? He squinted at the pale cat calling names. Beanspout was calling patrols? Disappointment loomed in his eyes, but was quickly washed over when he approached the beancat. "Way ahfead of ffyou." He mewed through his mouth-full off fish, padding directly to the fresh-kill pile. Pride swelled in his chest as he dropped it, tail straight in the air.
Swiftly returning to his patrol mates, his gaze lingered on Snowleap, clouded with thought, before scanning the clearing for Sedgestorm and Cicadeapaw.
