Palepaw woke up early the next morning and snuck out of the healer's den. Even though Rue had said she could hunt for herself, Palepaw couldn't just take lessons for free. That's not fair! So the little apprentice set out his morning hunt.

Okay...maybe he wasn't as good as hunting as he thought he was. Might've failed the first two tries...But at last, he caught something! A fresh vole from the undergrowth sat limp in his jaws as he skipped back towards the den Rue would be in. "Rue!"
"I've got a vole for you! A gift! For breakfast," Palepaw proclaimed with sparkles in his eyes. He dropped off his offering by Rue and settled himself down, waiting for the lesson to start.
"Aw, You didn't have too Palepaw... But Thank You all the Same. You ready for Lessons?"
Setting the Food aside for later, Rue, gestured for the Apprentice to Come into her Den, where she kept her herb supplies

Palepaw nodded eagerly. It was a little different from his pervious lessons, but gathering new information was always cool and learning a little more was always beneficial. "Alright!"

"I...D?" Palepaw asked a little confused. If Rue meant if he knew any, he could recite what he was taught. "Marigold for poultice. Chew for the wounds...Honey for sore throats! Make herbs taste better. And and and... poppy seeds for the pain. Not too much for kits or queens!"
He also knew the flowers and berries, he shouldn't touch, but they weren't herbs, so Palepaw skipped over them. "And...that all I know!"
