Soralyn decided to go up to her dorm room. There was a girl in the hallway standing a few doors down from Soralyn's room. The girl was surrounded by suitcases. "Hello! Do you need any help?"

Soralyn picked up one of the red cases, a slight burst of breath escaping her mouth. It was heavy for her, as she wasn't a girl with much strength. Few water Faelings are known to display great muscle. She wrapped both hands around the handle and lugged the bag into the dorm room. "Which one...is your...bedroom?" Soralyn huffed. You idiot, why didn't you just use magick? she suddenly thought.

If we used magick for everything, we'd all be fat and lazy and dull. One of her dad's favorite sayings passed through her mind.

Soralyn gestured to the door farthest from the dorm's entrance. "That one's mine. Here, I'll mark it."
She summoned a small bubble of water from the pouch at her waist and morphed it into a mist, then, moving her hand in a waving motion across the door, created the illusion of an elegant "S" being printed on the door.
