Newpaw nodded, her eyes wide. She took in another deep breath, adding the scent to her memory. She then turned to her mentor, bright eyed and excited, and asked, "Where are we going next?

Swiftfox ran outside. He loved the smell of fresh air in the evening. The only thing bothering him was he couldn't smell any prey around. "Hey, Do you smell anything?" He asked his sister.

"Okay!", Said Newpaw, bouncing with excitment. Her tail lashed excitedly and she did a little spin in a circle before finally during to follow her mentor.

Spiritshadow decided to take the moment and transform it into a more sarcastic conversation. "I mean, I smell you, and grass, and air, and dust, and water," she replied almost immediately. she flickered her tail dismissively, however, and nodded to the undergrowth. "do you mean prey? or was that the right answer to your question?" she asked him, though she knew the answer.

Spiritshadow laughed, then sniffed the air intently. "mm, not really, though the wind's picking up the smell of rabbit off over there," she said, nodding in the direction of the scent. her paws itched to go run after it, but she waited patiently for a response from her brother, using much of her self-control. the female wasn't used to having to wait for someone else while hunting, since usually during hunting patrols she kept off to the side and found her own prey; though she managed to be exceedingly social nonetheless. "wanna go chase it?" she inquired, her whiskers twitching.
